Weird and not easy to fit
I bought this to help with foot drop. Have to say I was quite disappointed. Fitting was poor and took a while to get it feeling right.

Very well made
My plantar faciitis has decided NOT to flare up since getting this, so I haven't been able to test how effective it is at relieving the pain and discomfort. But have I not had a flare up because I've been wearing this for the odd hour here and there just to check how it feels while on? There's no real way of telling.Either way, I don't feel I can really say whether or not this is effective in helping. The splint feels very sturdy, and the fabric is thick. The edges are well finished / trimmed, and all the stitching looks like it's going nowhere fast (won't unravel). As to ease of use / comfort....On unpacking it I was confused by the 'padded strange shaped insole piece', of which there was no mention in the instruction leaflet. It was only after looking at the pictures on this listing that I realised it's meant to go against the front of the leg and under the actual splint !!It's easy enough to put on, but I do have to adjust the velcro straps several times until I feel it's on properly. Once on it feels slightly strange because I can't flex my foot as much as normal, but it's not uncomfortable whilst moving around the house. I haven't tried sleeping it, as I haven't wanted to risk causing a flare up by doing so. But I'm normally a side sleeper, and as such I don't see it giving me any problems.
