Love this bible
So I have been looking for a Bible for like ever. I came across this one and I just kept coming back to it and I have been looking through like hundreds of Bibles for the right one for me. This one was the one that just kept catching my eye, not only in look, but also what it offered inside when it came to notes down the side that you can take and stuff like that. I think it’s sturdy and I don’t think the pages are too thin, but I’m also very careful when I highlight and stuff like that so it doesn’t totally bleed through. I haven’t really been paying attention to that part so I feel like if it did, I would have taken some stars off for that, but I have not been annoyed by it I put tabs on it for the different books of the Bible super easily and I feel like it’s sturdy and I really enjoy writing in it and using it.

So beautiful!
My daughter loves this Bible. I have same one with different color. We love to keep notes in and everyone wants to know where we got them. Don’t hesitate.

Great Bible, small print!
I really like this Bible for the study I'm using it for.

I really like this Bible but it is a bit different than many others
This Bible is just the Bible. Unlike many Bibles, there is not a concordance or introductory text between books, etc. I actually appreciate this because it keeps down the size a bit and I have quite a few other Bibles to consult when I need those things. It does include a table of contents and a guide to the page numbers in alphabetical order by book. There is also a table of measures (which seems quite random to include) and a schedule if you would like to read the Bible in a year. This is my first time with the ESV version. There are very few notes to the text - that may be typical of this translation. The pages are thin but not especially fragile. You will need to watch what pen you use to write in the margin area. The margin area is generous and there is a lightly lined area to put notes. The lines are light enough that you could also ignore them without it interfering with drawings. The print is small but very clear. The pages are very light cream and the print is black and well defined. I find it easy to read and gentle on my eyes but I have fairly good near vision (I use magnification for some embroidery).Time will tell but the binding seems sturdy. I have had Bibles fall apart with prolonged use and this one seems unlikely to do that.

A beautiful journaling or study Bible
No matter how many Bibles I have, I’m always excited to get a new one! This one is my new favorite. I prefer the English Standard Version (ESV), so I will use this one a lot. The cover is fabric, a lovely design that is a pleasure to see and hold. The text covers half the page with the other half a faintly-lined blank for notes, doodles, or whatever you do to enhance your study experience. The paper is fairly thin - you will need to be careful what ink you use for notes - but it isn’t tissue thin as in some Bibles. I can get rough with mine, tossing them in the seat of my car, stuff them in my purse, etc., and I think this Bible will stand up to that well. I also like the journaling feature, because I don’t like to take notes in the text section. It muddles things for me when I have a lot of notes in the margins and between lines. Having a wide, lined margin lets me take notes while leaving the text clear. This Bible also has a schedule for reading through the Bible in a year, which will be handy. I think this would be a great gift or addition to your own Bible collection.

Stitching is coming loose
I love this Bible. It's so pretty and I get tons of compliments on it. However, the stitching is coming loose after just a couple months.

Beautiful, inspirational, journaling Bible
This Bible is so beautiful. I love the gorgeous floral print fabric cover. The binding of this Bible seems to be high-quality as well. The cream colored pages and sienna-colored satin bookmark only add to its aesthetic appeal. The pages are thick enough that I can write with a ball point pen or felt tip marker. I wouldn't use a fountain pen on this though. This Bible has fairly small 7.5 point type, but that allows enough room for journaling while still maintaining a reasonable size. This book isn't too large, so I can take it with me to church or the coffee shop. The only additional resources are a Bible reading plan and a list of weights and measures, so I have to rely on additional sources for serious study, but I love that this combines scripture with journaling. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who loves reading the Bible and who enjoys writing.

LOVE
I’ve always wanted a Bible that offered a place for notes so when I had the opportunity to get this one I was excited. I love the amount of space provided on each page for notes. The size of words on each page has also been nice. I’ve never had this version, but overall I am enjoying it. The front and back covers are made of solid, durable materials. They are also very pretty - charming to the eyes! This would make a great gift to someone or to yourself!

Careful if giving as a gift
Apart from the Amazon cardboard box, this beauty only comes in shrink-wrap.Mine was for a gift and there was some discoloration on the side and a slightly torn front end-page which was passable but order extra early and give yourself extra time if it's a gift in case it turns up a bit blemished and you need to exchange it.Gorgeous Bible though - lovely cover feel and beautiful artwork, creamy soft touch pages and clear reading though a small font.
