LOVE this. ***Get protective films to keep lens clear.
First, it fits perfectly and works great. I tested the fit by covering the inlet holes with masking tape, then putting the mask to my face without the straps, inhaling a tad to create a vacuum, then nodding my head forward to see how long it would stay on. I can hold my breath a long time, but since it didn't seem to lose any vacuum, I cut the test at 45 seconds. Awesome seal. I had no fog-up at all when I was old-house-paint scraping on a hot day. It stayed comfortable to breathe in it for a few hours at a stretch. Also, my 78 yr. old mom wanted to use mine, and she is rather vain, so this must not make my face look all squished up in some grotesquely unflattering manner like some masks can. That matters to some of us, right? Anyhow, I had to explain to mom that it's kind of like a toothbrush: sort of a one-person dealio. So, I need to get her one of these before she starts a fume-producing project she has planned.I bought a goodly stack of self-adhesive lens protectors and layer about 6 so that when I'm spraying paint I can just rip off the top film and carry on, able to see. When I take the mask off, I can lay it face-down (face side = face-touchy-only) with the films. Touching the sticky tabs to your jeans slightly makes the lens protectors peel off from each other easier. Besides, how am I going to check my phone while I'm working if I have to take my mask off to see the screen? I wouldn't get any work done at all. ;-) For real, though, it's only a few bucks for films, and seeing what we're doing isn't over-rated. The clarity of this lens really is worth protecting. I shop for good deals & I got that so-sweet combo of value, fit, comfort, performance... PLus hot-grandma-approved facial aesthetics...(chuckled). Oh, yeaH BOnus!

A must have if you are spraying polyurethane!
I bought this to help save myself from inhaling all the fumes from painting and my other house projects. It does its job perfectly. I was using shellac and polyurethane. Needlessly to say the funes are extremely toxic and when spraying the fine mist stays in the air. Just opening the can I could smell thw strong fumes. But once I put this ON... NOTHING! Not a single thing I could smell. Absolutely no issues breathing and couldnt smell a things from the shellac primer. Also it fit my face very well. I would recommend this one if you are considering house projects.

Respirator
Only one star this product is not a one size fits all There was areas around my temples that would not seal against my face, also everytime I bent my head down I was getting chocked by this respirator and I was not able to wear my eyeglasses with this respirator. If they could make the silicone around the respirator slot thicker and make it so that we could wear glasses with it then it would be an okay respirator.
