I bought a new gas can with the ridiculous government-mandated spouts out of necessity. The spout was completely unusable — Rigid, jutting out at a 45° angle, with that spill lock that required a third hand to operate. It was simpler to remove the spout and pour gas straight from the wide mouth opening.So I bought this replacement kit. It comes with a drill bit perfectly sized to install the vent, which I located on the backside of the container’s handle. The spout screws on easily and securely, with no leaks out of the threads. I recommend this spout!

I bought the 2-pack initially to see how they are. They are great. The drill bit is the perfect size so the vent snaps in and works great. The spout is great and leak free while tilting the can and filling my truck. Highly recommend. I already ordered the 3-pack. No more "spill-proof" horrible can spouts. Back to the good ol' days. Freedom.

The diameter of the flexble spouts is small and they are quite stiff buty the caps fit tight and they work fine.

This was worth the price. For less than the cost of one new fuel can I saved two older, but still good, cans. Be aware there are two different thread sizes included.

The one aspect of these spouts I like the most is their flexibility. It makes pouring gasoline from large 4-5 gallon containers much easier than the typical straight spouted styles. Also, the screw tight cap is a plus in preventing accidental gas spills.

Works like a charm. Replaced over engineered EPA required ridiculous nozzle which laughably (leaking wasn't funny but the idea that these save the environment is) was leaking all over.

bought this kit to redo some gas cans in need of help. let me start with the drill bit that comes with the kit is too big of a bit the Hole it makes for the vent hole the vent cap fits way to lose it stays in place but is loose and you can pull it out with no problem. I ended up buying a package of vents that use a bigger that fit great. the kit comes with two styles of spout caps both caps are made to screw on the spout. one cap is made to slip on over the spout with a ring attached so it is secured to the spout but the threaded cap is too small will not screw on thats the cap I prefer to use. so I am stuck using the other cap. it fits just don't lose it because it doesn't attach to the spout at all. I didn't feel like sending it back I made them work. yes they work but I had to buy another package of vents to make this kit work.

The vent cap broke off the very first time I used it.
