The rolling hills of Derbyshire turn into a bloody inferno of revenge as the families hurt by Alfredo Boss take the law into their own hands. This leaves D.I. Clayton to trawl through Manchester’s slaughter houses, boxing clubs and brothels to find the answers as to which member of which family should take the blame. Pat Robinson was born in Manchester at the end of World War Two. She took early retirement from being a nursery nurse to travel. It was during her nomadic lifestyle that she wrote The Doll’s Hospital trilogy. Since then she has been a member of various writing groups, one of which was on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, Australia. She now lives in Yorkshire and is a member of Pickering’s Castle Writers.
