Lily & Drew Casual Travel Daypack School Backpack for Men Women and 13 Inch Laptop Computer, with Wide Doctor Style Top Opening (V4 Black Medium)

A few things about this backpack. I've used this backpack for about a week now and have been taking it with me everywhere to try and get a good feel for what it would be useful for. A few things on that this backpack has that I had a hard time finding on similarly styled backpacks were the smaller outside pockets and water bottle pockets. There is on located on the front which I find useful for my sunglasses and chapstick and one located on the back which I like to use for my phone and money. The zippers seem sturdy and I haven't had much of an issue with them. The larger outside pocket is nice and perfect for gum, mints, and I put my sunscreen there are well. The main opening to the bag has these metal bars that help it keep that boxy shape which is both nice and a little inconvenient. They are nice since they keep the shape of the bag and keep the opening wide when it is all the way open. However I find it a little inconvenient that I have to open the bag all the way everytime I want to grab something, I can't just open it part way. The other thing about the main opening which I don't care for is that it's hard to zip closed with just one hand, but that's not a big issue. The inside compartment is very nice, I love the lining and there are two smaller pockets and a larger laptop pocket. There is lots of room inside this bag, I used it for a picnic the other day and it was stuffed with water bottles and some fruit, I was able to fill it to the brim and still get it closed. The straps are okay on this backpack. When it is heavy with lots of things inside it the straps can be uncomfortable if you wear it for an extended period of time. I noticed that they get closer to the top which was hard on my neck. When the backpack is lighter is more comfortable and the straps don't bother me. The smaller handles on the top I find look good but are also helpful for when I'm trying to get situated or struggle with lots of items.Overall, I would say this was an amazing buy and I love this backpack. It is roomy and looks nice, the material isn't cheap and the stitching is good and strong. The zippers work well and its overall size is nice and convenient (not too big or small) with lots of pockets both inside and out. The straps can be uncomfortable with lots of weight and extended wear. The metal around the main opening takes some getting used to.

Wow! What a great backpack! I don't write reviews very often, but I just had to for this product. I have been looking for a backpack for a long time but could not find one with all the right kinds of pockets I needed. This one finally has it all. The outer side pockets hold my 32 oz water bottles. The larger front pocket holds my 5 1/2 by 8 1/2 inch hardback bullet journal. Both smaller pockets on the outside (one front and one back) zip and can hold my Galaxy Note 5 in its case. There is also a strap on the back to secure it to your handles if you have a rolling suitcase. It has padded straps with a lot of adjustment room in them. Inside, there are 4 more elasticized slip-type pockets that can each hold a large water bottle. I use two of them for zoom lenses when I take my camera with me. If you already have a large water bottle in the outer side pocket, it would be a tight fit to get another large one in the adjacent inside one if that makes sense, but the other two are on the padded inner wall so you could still use those and carry 4 large water bottles. The location of those two pockets provides padding for what is in the pockets, also, which is a plus for me. Also inside are 2 regular slip pockets, a padded pocket with a Velcro tab for a tablet or laptop, and a large zippered pocket. This was literally the only backpack that had all the pockets I needed and the "doctor's bag" type of top opening I wanted. I was worried it would be too shiny and look cheap, but it doesn't. I got the blue one, and it has a bit of a sheen, but it is nice, thick polyester/nylon material - definitely not plastic-like. I personally would have preferred canvas, but I know this will be more durable and easier to clean, so that is fine. It does not have a pass through zipper on the back, so if you want that, it might be a negative for you, but I am glad it does not. Quality looks good, not even any loose threads. Glad my search is over...

I just wish I'd ordered the larger size - it's so perfect for a day at the office or for traveling, but I wish I had a little more room to cram all my stuff into it. I've already gotten compliments on it. I searched for a nice bag for air travel that would fit under the seat and would attach to my carry-on suitcase. The prices were INSANE. I was really happy to find this cute bag at an amazing price. I wasn't expecting it to be such great quality for the price - it feels like a much nicer bag! I use it for my laptop bag and a purse when I go to the office. For flights, it easily slides over the handle of my carry-on suitcase so it's a breeze in the airport and in an Uber. I also appreciate that I don't have to protect it like a higher-end bag; if I end up damaging it, it's very affordable to replace. LOVE this bag!!!

So great for a work look and a casual look. It's so easy and has SO many pockets.

Bought for my mother for Christmas who is office based but travels between offices during the week. The backpack allows her to carry her laptop and associated cables, notebooks, lunch and purse easily.She has had lots of compliments and has recommended the bag to others.
