The extra wide top will support most types of furniture leg and a central recess allows castors to safely locate for stability. It seems that I am the first sucker to fall for this offer. First of all, NEVER buy ANY product that has NO comments listed. Secondly, be SURE you know exactly WHAT your are getting and HOW MANY. I stupidly thought these would be small enough to put under the legs of my chair, and for some reason I thought I was getting FOUR, when I actually got only ONE, and it is a BEAST! The base is 6.5" across and the top is 3.5" across and bottom to top is 4", with an indent in the top, making the total rise 3.5".This is actually a beautifully built and nice looking riser with seemingly better plastic than the dark brown, square ones at Walmart, but at the shipped price of $14.52 EACH, they are FAR pricier than the standard 3", 5", or 8" bed risers (which work just fine, thank you) that go for $19 Prime for a set of FOUR on Amazon.To top off this joke, I ordered the set (of ONE!) on 15 Sep 17 and got it today (30 Sep 17) ... FIFTEEN days to come from Manchester, England! And I get $4 tactical pens from China in less than a week!So you'll need TWO or FOUR of these, but only the RICH need apply!
