The cooling is very effective even on the lowest power setting. It is not actually silent and is about as loud as other phone coolers running at 20w, which is not bad (same amount of noise at all three power settings). While the overall footprint is much larger than the air-cooling alternatives, the part that attaches to the back of the phone is flat which makes the phone much easier to hold and convenient for placing the phone down on a surface without having to worry about blocking the airflow. However, do keep in mind that the cover on the soft water reservoir does not form a tight seal, so do keep the container upright and do not squeeze it. I do wish the water container can have more structural rigidity and with a proper seal, or if the cover can screw onto the 12L water bottle its label suggests for the highest power setting.Another thing to keep in mind is that the liquid will warm up over time since there is no radiator to take the heat away from the liquid like the liquid coolers found in computers. For prolonged gaming session it is possible that you will either have to replace the water or use a bigger container (as suggested on the unit).

Lol so I kinda expected a plug type thing and didn't realize you need to fill a little compartment with water. It's super cool lol and on the softest setting it keeps my phone cold enough to simultaneously stream and charge. I have a galaxy 21+ and it would over heat doing this before so this device is amazing!
