OXTools 3/8" Tuck Pointer/Mortar Smoothing Tool

It's a joy to hold this tool, and can't get it off my hands. The thickness of the blade has a tiny bit of flex that helps to apply cement tightly. The handle is very ergonomically designed and the finish is impeccable. Highly recommend this tool.

Bought this to do some "minor" crack repair on my house. Estimated job time 6hrs. After I started it turned into an all weekend job. Bricks were coming loose and falling out. If I didn't buy this tool I wouldn't have done this my self and cost me the weekend. Tool worked awesome tho.

Good design, but a little too wide for most common brick pointing jobs that I intended to do.

Good sturdy tuck pointer with good grip. Arrived in a large box.Was desperately needed, through the Prime 1 day delivery in particular as cement has started to fade around protective tiles, causing leaks in several of our subterranean bedrooms.This tuck pointer along with some watertight cement should do the trick.

I recently had to re-point the mortar between my patio paving slabs. I ordered the quarter-inch one, because it gave me the flexibility to get it into even the smallest of gaps. To complete the job, I also used a gauging trowel and a mortar jointer. The handle provided a good grip and, for the price, I think this is a useful tool that represents good value. The blade itself is made of steel - so, after use, it's worth wiping dry, and applying a little oil to prevent it from rusting up. Highly recommended.
