I was highly skeptical about this stuff
At first I really didn’t believe that this could possibly mask that funky ass odor that us pierced and stretched people do. I thought if anything, it probably just added another smell on top of the funk to try to mask it... But, lo and behold, this stuff actually works incredibly well! I noticed others mentioned the small amount for the price, but if you take a look at the ingredients, you’ll see that smelly gelly contains many soothing, natural, and healthy ingredients in it, so I really do believe it’s worth the small amount of coin that it costs! I personally wouldn’t recommend it for the actual stretching process, due to it being a more waxy than oily texture, but apparently others do. Lastly, I actually just tried it on the bottom of my vertically labret ring (which is another piercing that I seem to notice a funk with), and that too in fact works well! This stuff really works wonders, I sure enjoy it!

Not happy with this product
I got this to help with my ear and nostril piercings. My ear piercings had tightened up after many years of not wearing jewelry. I could barely fit standard earrings in but the left side would hurt after a short time and I would have to remove it. My piercer stretched them just to a 16g. My nostril gets a little sore and irritated when removing and inserting jewelry for cleaning.Even though I shower and scrub my ears and jewelry daily I sometimes get that funky yeasty cheesy smell. I found out that can happen when they have been stretched, even if just a small amount.I also wanted something to make inserting earrings and nostril rings easier. So enter Smelly Gelly. Something I tried to put on my skin and jewelry.ProsCute little tin.I would imagine even with this small amount that it would last a lot time. After cleaning and applying in the morning I didn’t notice a cheesy smell at bedtime like I sometimes do. Although by morning it was back and yes I used fresh pillowcases.Low product priceConsShipping is an extra cost. Not prime and not free. It’s a hard wax. Even warming it with my hands it stays just a hard, tacky wax.It didn’t lubricate my jewelry to make it any easier to insert. It smells like oil that has gone rancid.I had to stir it up to get any scent besides old oil to appear. The only faint scent that came out when stirred was maybe of eucalyptus. When used in my nostril jewelry I was stuck with the rancid oil smell all day.It did not help with nostril irritation from changing out jewelry.I’m really bummed as I went back and forth deciding between this and similar products. I went with this because I wanted the essential oils that the other products were lacking.

Pretty good
Good product, works well. Its not the easiest to get out of the container and warm up but I like that became a little really does go a long way. Its got a very unique smell but not too bad.( Im sensitive to smells) I use it on my stretched ears, I have noticed a cut down in healing time and it doesn't seem like it seals moister out like thick products can tend to do. I will probably order it again but this will last a really really long time. Its honestly worth a try in my opinion everyone has different preferences especially for after care and maintenance. I didn't think I'd like it to start with but its really good stuff.

Buy this!
If you are looking for this product then you know all about the smelly truth. 🧀This stuff is amazing. My ears are a size 0 and I have struggled hard with the after effects of going up in size. It never really went away. But this smelly jelly is everything I hopes it would be! I read all of the reviews first so I was very aware that it wouldn't smell awesome. But the scent is not terrible. It's low key and absolutely better than ear cheese. My lobes are living the good life now. Buy the Smelly Jelly and yours will too!

Best purchase for new nose piercing
I waited a few weeks before buying this hoping that my saline spray wash would help. Even after the saline wash twice a day, my nose piercing still smelled cheesy. I am so glad I got this. I was surprised at how small the can was but I feel like this would last me a while. After I clean my ring or stud, I just scrape a thin layer of this smelly gelly and that’s it. Sometimes I also take a little bit with my finger and rub it into my nostril. If I don’t use this for 3 days or so, I start smelling the cheesy smell again, so this stuff really works!

Not a fan.
Maybe my product was old, but it was essentially impossible to rub any out of the tin and onto my ear lobe. It smelled fine and the small tin is great to carry, but I couldn't actually use mine to see if it worked.

Must buy
Love this product! It really works to help your ears not stink! It smells pretty good too! The container is small but you barely use any each time so it’s a great value!!

This stuff works
This stuff works. No smelly lobes. The texture is slightly offputting. It's kind of waxy and sticky but absorbs into the skin after a bit. Does everything it says it does.
