Chicco MyFit LE Harness + Booster Car Seat, Anthem

I have been looking and looking for a forward facing car seat that will recline. We go on road trips on the weekends and it would bother me that my Son would fall asleep and his head would fall forward. We tried the headbands but that wasn't reliable and I kept thinking what if it ends up across his throat but you never know. I am so delighted and happy with this car seat and it is worth the price. My Son can rest and I don't have to worry about his head falling forward. Thank you

I went back and forth between the Chicco Myfit and the Britax Frontier. I am very happy I went with this seat. If you are wondering if it’s worth it to buy the LE model with the “SuperCinch” option-YES!!! The answer is yes!!! I am very petite and it is always hard for me to install car seats. I have a Chevy Tahoe with leather bucket seats and it fits nicely on the seat and I was able to get it nice and tight when I installed it. The Cinch feature made my life so much easier. I will say that the seat is bulky and heavy, but I won’t be moving the seat often so it doesn’t bother me too much. I love the fact that this seat can still recline and has a ton of cushion for maximum comfort! Although it is bulky, it sits up high and makes it easier for my 4yo to see out the window. It works great in my SUV, but not sure how well it would fit into a smaller vehicle. Overall, I would recommend.

Heavy duty! My husband jokes these car seats could survive a nuclear bomb. They are heavy steel frame, so I wouldn’t recommend them if you must transfer car seats between vehicles daily. I do transfer them about once a week or so with ease. Very easy for me to remove and install without assistance and get a secure seat for my children. That’s saying a lot considering I am disabled by Multiple Sclerosis and suffer from muscle weakness. The easy click/release is amazing and convenient! The harness is easy to loosen and tighten with a button between trips, yet just far enough from reach that our kids can’t press the button and loosen while in transit. The last car seat, our 3 yr old would loosen on his own, so I was constantly keeping watch. So glad these don’t have that issue!! The straps have comfy padding on the neck and in the crotch area that our little ones appreciate. No more accidentally clipping their inner thighs!We have a 3 and 6 yr old in these seats - both in the 5 pt harness and loving it. Our 6 yr old cannot unclip the 5pt harness - so keep in mind if you prefer they have independence for car rider line at school, they’ll likely need to use the regular seat belt feature. The car seats fit easily in the captains chairs of our minivan and still allow our older kids to pass by to the 3rd row.FYI, the snack container that fits in a cup holder is easily removable. I do wish it’d clip in to keep the kids from taking them out on road trips. Otherwise, the cup holder themselves clip in and can be removed for easy cleaning by unclipping and aren’t easily removed by children. Finally, a cup holder that doesn’t have to be grimy after a few months of spills!

Between children and grandchildren I've installed many car seats. The Chicco myfit LE was the most difficult of all. It seems that neither the Pull First" nor the cinch latch wanted to get tight. I finally had to put all of my weight into it. Hate to think about having to remove it now. The hook for the upper latch is so large that it was a chore to even get it connected. Maybe it fits other vehicles better.

I like the cup holder placement. It looks pretty nice. Fits our Ford Flex perfect. Easy to clean the bottom half, by throwing it in the wash. My two year old always tosses the snack cup holder thing that goes into the cup holder. It kinda tilted to the side too. Was hard for her to reach things in it. I like it though for holding snacks and toys when she doesn’t kick or throw it off. Haha.

The media could not be loaded.  Love this carseat! I finally have peace of mind concerning my childs safety. I have a Safety First 3-n-1 carseat. It was good but i could never get the latches tight enough so there was too much wiggle room for the seat. With the Cinch Tightener feature on the Chicco MyFit LE you definitely get a secure fit. That seat will not go nowhere. It's easy to install too. I was hesitant to spend $250 on the Anthem color choice (I have a boy) but to me it was worth it to have peace of mind just in case there is an accident. You might be a good cautious driver but we can't say the same for everyone else. Plus we all make mistakes at any given time. Knowing my child is safe is priceless. Also it will grow with his height (I have a feeling he will be a tall one) well past the limit on the Safety First seat. I'm so impressed with this seat as soon as I can I will be ordering another one to permanently replace the Safety First seat in the other vehicle. I would recommend this seat to anyone.

Have been chicco from the beginning and have loved the keyfit, nextfit and now this one. My 3.5 yr old was being evicted from her nextfit by her little brother, and she loves this one even more. Difference between the standard MyFit and LE is the cinch tight installation clips, which are totally worth it - especially if you watch the price on amazon and purchase when its lower than MSRP. (also check out ebates sometimes Amazon has % for baby stuff). Only thing that isn't top notch is the little "tablet table". It really doesn't stay in the cup holder well. Its a great idea, but needs a little more help to be an awesome feature.

We purchased this for our 3.5 year old girl (30 lbs, 38") and were a little apprehensive looking at the pictures about the seat not providing quite as much protection as her previous Chicco Nextfit Zip. However, when we received the seat we couldn't have been happier. It's exceptionally well made, the belt operation is very easy, our daughter seems very comfortable and the snack hold is a big hit. The best part is the versatility of this seat means it is the last we will have to buy for her. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a forward facing seat.
