I've used these on a Roland electronic set and for me, they're not any more quiet than basic sticks either on the cymbals or the mesh heads. Also, shipping took a long time and they didn't even provide proper postage. I had to pay extra at the post office (the company tried to use a free USPS priority box without shipping it as priority). Nothing really silent about these sticks. They sound pretty much the same as a regular stick and match regular sticks using a db meter -68 to 70 db. They are a bit heavier than my hickory 5Bs but that is kind of a plus to me; I like the weight. The balance is also good. Bottom line: these are not silent or even lower in volume than regular sticks.

We have a electronic drum set created by FIELD which are incredible....the real metal cymbals are beautiful and life-like with amazing sensitivity triggering.We needed a way to quiet or silence the hitting of real sticks with the Metal Electronic Cymbals....these FIELD Silent Sticks are perfect!
