This is definitely the best purchase this year, it’s a very soft blanket which I wrap around me, it heats up nicely but not to the edges. I usually put it on the 2 hr timer but need to turn it off after an hour as it warms me up quickly. The colour is beautiful and I would highly recommend.

Value for money and very warm

If I buy a fake fur throw (and I've got a few), I expect to open something that invites me to bury my nose in it and rub it all over my face. It should be immediately alluring, eminently strokable and incredibly soft. The pile should be dense and gleaming. I should be able to pull it close around my body and feel that I'm being given a huge warm hug. I should want to snuggle up in it, wrapped around my shoulders and thighs and drift off to sleep. It should keep me warm and cosy for as long as I have time to spend on myself. It should put me in mind of good chocolate or hot buttered toast. Even if it's not expensive It should feel and look like a treat!THAT'S what it should be like for me and THIS most definitely was not!The faux fur fabric is very thin and felt as though it would be easy to tear. It also wasn't warm when just draped over my legs. The fake fur itself is stiff and scratchy and the absolute opposite of dense. I've bought far better (unheated) throws from a major supermarket for a third of the price of this and without the injunction not to sit on it. What's the use of a heated throw if you can only sit with it draped over your legs (what a waste of heat from those edges that are just warming the air or carpet underneath them) or lie down under it it (label facing upwards, according to the instructions - seriously ugly look!} and can't mould it round yourself?The controller is large and clunky and the heated area stiff and unyielding. The unheated edges feel flimsy and cheap. The colour isn't great and the pile (such as it is) is dull and looks just simply boring. OK, the heating elements are stitched into place which will prevent them from moving around but that's about the only positive feature I could identify. The instructions are obviously written by a non native English speaker and consist almost entirely of injunctions about what you can't do with the throw, the controller and even the electrical lead (which is actually a reasonable length). One of those injunctions is to prevent animals sitting on the throw - fat chance with my two! By the time I'd got through all the DON'Ts I felt as though I'd been given a thorough telling off!You won't be surprised to find that I sent it straight back. If you're looking for a heated throw that is designed to be draped over your shoulders and comes down past your knees when you're sitting, you might want to look at the Navaris Electric Heated Wrap (also available on Amazon). It's not fake fur and not the ideal I described above but it's wrapped round me now, cooling down after a short burst on low and I'm still toasty. It's also considerably less expensive than this one. Have a look and maybe save some cash!

The warmth doesn’t cover the whole blanket and secondly it’s smaller than I had expected, though it serves the purpose and it’s a very beautiful electric blanket. My concerns was that from the website it seems to be very large yet it is not. From the price tag , it should have been alt least double, it’s not even single.

Heats up quickly. Lovely and soft. Have seen some reviews stating heated throws are stiff. This is definitely not stiff. Best buy of 2023.

Stopped working after 6 months use, connector overheats, material very thin and only faux fur on one side, I am having to buy another heated throw and I will not be buying anything from this brand ever again.

I use this blanket in the cold weather it’s so comfy and very warm highly recommended it.
