This is a very effective baseball spin trainer for a reasonable price when compared to products line the clean fuego. This ball is a great way to help baseball players get feedback on if they are keeping their fingers behind the ball and getting proper backspin on a 4-seam fastball or standard baseball throw. I like that this version is made with a leather cover like a standard baseball so that the feel of the ball and laces is the same as throwing with a regular baseball. While this tool could be used for any age, I really like it for kids in the 8-12 range.
