I installed the TENGXIN 52 Inch Farmhouse Ceiling Fan in our guest bedroom to replace an aging fan that didn't have any automation, and to give the room a different look.The instructions were pretty straightforward to follow, if one pays attention to the detailed diagrams.After hanging the fan and connecting the electrical wiring, I was unable to get the Canopy to fit up against the ceiling as the Receiver was simply too large to fit inside the Canopy as pictured.I sent an email through Amazon to TENGXIN explaining this issue and within 24 hours received a reply indicating that there were two different sized Canopies, and I must have received the smaller one. Apparently, there are two different Canopy sizes depending on the receiver used.The next day I received a message with a FedEx tracking number indicating that I should receive the replacement canopy within 2-3 days.The remote control comes with an easy to install holder that I attached to the wall next to the door using the two included screws.The fan has 6 different speeds that are selected using the buttons on the remote, including reverse and a "Natural wind" setting that slowly cycles through the six different wind speeds. The highest speed is way too much for my small bedroom, however it would be useful in a large high-ceilinged room. There are 3 timer buttons that set the fan to automatically power off after 1, 2, or 4 hours.The multi-LED light has three different color temperatures, 3000/4000/5000K, selectable from the remote as well as a dimmer control with a fairly wide brightness range. The brighter settings would also be useful in a much larger room.There is a green LED at the top of the remote that lights up whenever a button is pressed accompanied by a faintly audible beep coming from the receiver.Unlike other fans that I've installed in the past, this fan was perfectly balanced right from the start! Included was a blade balancing kit which I stored away since it wasn't needed. Other than the Canopy not fitting, I'm quite happy with the fan and its many features. The DC motor is completely silent with the only sound coming from the generated winds at higher speeds.Other than the Canopy not fitting, I'm quite happy with the fan and its many features. In my opinion, the kit should include both Canopy sizes unless the company can match the Canopy size to the Receiver included in each shipment. If I was paying an Electrician to install the fan I would no doubt have to pay for a return trip to install the Canopy.I should add that their Customer Service Representative was very polite and responsive.

Like the looks of it and it appears to be made well. I didn't install it. So, I can't speak on that.

I had high hopes for this fan. Loved the design and the construction seemed on par with most fans coming out of China. I wound up having a lot of issues. First there were no installation instructions included. The supplied bracket would not fit my older round junction box. The mounting screw holes were too wide for the box. I finally made it work though after about an hour. I then went to put up the cover that hides the bracket at the ceiling. It didn't fit the bracket and there were no screws to attach it to the bracket with. I found some of my own but they were silver and not black so they stood out badly against the black cover. It finally came time to attach the blades to the metal blade brackets. The screws were too short and would not go through the blades far enough unless I didn't use the supplied washers. Even then they barely were long enough and only a couple of threads were exposed. Attempted to thread them into the blade holder and no luck. I then decided to see it they would thread without the blade. Turns out the screws weren't even the right size. They just slipped into the holes. Checked the blade holders and not all of them even had threads. I would have to find screws and nuts to make it work. After about three hours of this I took the thing and put it in the trash. Maybe I got one that quality control didn't check, but this fan was the worst one I have ever had. I have installed well over 50 fans in my lifetime so I know what I am doing. There was no hope for this one without making my own parts or fixing theirs. Can't recommend this product at all.Update: After this review I was contacted by the vendor. They apologized for the inconvenience and sent me a new fan. After inspection of the new fan, I found that the previous one I had received was missing some parts as well as the instructions. After reading the instructions I was able to determine what went wrong with the last item. I verified that the new fan contained all the correct parts and was able to install it with no issues. The fan as I stated before is of nice design and construction and with the correct parts is easy to install. I applaud the vendor for reaching out and making sure that I was satisfied in the end. I have upgraded them to a 4 1/2 star rating. Dinging them a 1/2 star for the initial issue, but I give customer service 5 stars for wanting to make it right.

This 52 inch ceiling fan is farmhouse style.Its large lampshade and black lamp stand are very stylish.The light is bright and does not flicker. The light can adjust the brightness.The fan has 6 adjustable speeds and 2 rotation modes. It can bring cool breeze in summer and air circulation in winter. Suitable for use all year round. It runs very quietly, even at maximum wind speeds.Its lights and fans can be controlled through the remote control and mobile phone APP, which is very convenient.Its installation is easy. The large size of 52 inches is not only suitable for installation in the room, but also fits well in the patio.

The media could not be loaded.  This was my first ceiling fan to install and it was fairly easy. Everything went well except for the top dome. Had a lot to get stuffed inside the dome, before it would attach.Besides that, I am satisfied with the fan and lighting. Fan is balanced close enough that I didn’t feel the need to try and improve it.This is my first time having a remote control bedroom ceiling fan. I really like the fact that if you turn the light switch off, the lights and fan go off. I really really like that when you turn the lights switch back on, the fan does not come back on. I mainly just use the fan at night.
