I love, love, love these. So easy to install and such an immediate upgrade to your decor.Absolutely love the ability to set and choose your preference for light temperature with just a slide of the switch.They dim smoothly and without any flicker at any setting.There is a miniscule delay when I turn them on, but it's such a fraction of a second that it's doesn't matter at all.I easily give these lights themselves 10 stars.I do however, have to give the company just one star for consistency of their product design.I ordered two cases of these for a rental property, and my own bathroom.I ordered 2 boxes of these same lights. I ordered them both at the same time and placed them in the same order.When they arrived, I noticed they came in 2 different size boxes. When I opened them up, I also noticed they were packed and wrapped differently.On closer inspection, I noticed they were not the same. All the fixtures in each case were the same, but the two cases were different. They were marked the same, my invoice showed 2 of the same item, but the fixtures in one case were different than the fixtures in there other case.The differences are:- the bevel depths are different. The fixtures in one box have quite a noticably deeper bevel and is recessed further in than the other.- the switch that changes the light color temp is different. Both have the same color range choices, but one style is a wider sliding switch, and the other is more of a tab that clicks thru the different settings. Obviously this difference is not visible, but it clearly shows the items are different.- One set came with a rubberized gasket that goes between the ceiling and the fixture. The other set provided nothing like this at all.Overall, I don't have a strong preference for either design difference, but it threw me for a loop when I realized they weren't all the same.In fact, I had 6 of them up and in place already, when I realized this.I had to stop, figure out how many went in each bathroom and kitchen and how I would divvy them up so each room had the same fixtures.I ended up having to take them down and replace them with fixtures from the other box to keep the styles consistent.It's ok with me that a kitchen and a bathroom had different styles, but the bevel depth is too noticeable to be able to mix them in the same room.Luckily the numbers I needed in each of the rooms worked out in the end, but please be aware of this if your needs call for ordering more than one case of these.

I will start by saying I was really excited at finding these, so I ordered, got them in one day. Our can lights are 6" & 20 years old. Opened the box of 12 everything good nothing broken. Pulled down my first light screwed in the adapter grabbed the light unit shoved it up there and no way is this unit going to stay up in the can. The spring wires have round smooth ends that make contact with the inside of the can. Well this is NOT going to hold the weight of the unit plus the stiffness of the plug wire, no matter how I put it up there it would not hold tight, leaving a 1/4" or so gap at the ceiling, push it up tight and slip down. This happened on every unit, This is why the ones your replacing have coil spring or super stiff spring wire that is threaded into clips with holes. So I gave it some thought and decided to take a piece of 1/8"? hose put it under hot water to soften then slide it over the clips rounded end, clip it off and try again... Worked pretty good, but not as good as the originals.ISSUE 2, The rings thin foam gasket, totally useless, it's thickness is less than the gutter it;s supposed to be sealing. I tossed it, this at least allowed room for the textured ceilings boogers. around the cans cut out.ISSUE 3 My fault... 5000k is FRIGGIN BRIGHT!! Seriously it's like looking into the sun. Well I needed this brightness but not all the time. This also means it will cast a very distinct shadow. In other words if the light is behind you your shadow in front of you will be very dark. So I will get a dimmer, now my cheapo retro fit is starting to cost a bit more. Just a heads up.1st. pic is the tube over the round spring clip end. I think a softer hose might be better.2nd. pic shows the too thin useless gasket.3rd. pic trying to give an idea of the hose size in relation to the plug. Think it's 1/8" silicon. A softer hose might work even betterConclusion, still a good deal, Make sure of the Kelvin value you want or add the dimmer & plate (if needed) to your budget,

Installed in the basement and they truly brighten the room. The 3 way Dimmer switches were more than the lights. Go figure.

The metal springs were too long for my recessed cans. Had to cut off 3/4 inches to fit. Otherwise they are nice lights

Check for helper videos if you're really unsure how to install but this is incredibly simple to put in. My previous pot lights were 7.5 inches wide so I have the tiniest gap of coverage but that's no fault of this light. Also, these are quite bright at 1100 lumins so be aware that you're installing basically the equivalent of 100w bulbs.

Lightness is good, but 2 of these lights fell off my ceiling in just 2 months. The plastic tooth connecting the hanger is broken, and no way to fix it. I had to reorder others to replace them. 2 broken out of 12, are not that bad maybe, but definitely not acceptable to me as I need all 12 lights working and didn't order extra. It bothers me and I hope the manufacturer could improve the problem.
