Ok, it's more expensive than others mainly I think because if you want a light that is actually bright and functional you have to pay more.I think this is well worth the money. I think I paid £35 (coupon offer was available) and it is worth every penny.It is well built, varying light colours/brightness etc. It has a remote control which is great as this does light up a very big area so I am often not in reach of the controls on the pole.I have searched for a long time and very very pleased with this light

This is a very versatile lamp with its clamp feature and can be used in way more places than just attached to the edge of a desk. I love that you can not only bend the gooseneck but you can twist the rather large light head to give a more diffuse light by aiming it at a wall, for instance - and then the brightness and warmth of the light is adjustable too. It just increases your options for the way you choose to use this lamp.When it comes to assembly, even someone impractical like me will be able to put this together. It’s worth noting that it is well packed when it arrives, and even includes a little Philips head screwdriver (and a couple of spare screws) to make sure you aren’t left unable to assemble it if your toolkit is minimal.The remote control feels a bit like overkill for me because I am using it as a desk lamp now and could also use it as a lamp for a piano in future – both of which cases mean you’re close enough to reach the controls in the body of the lamp. However, it does work beautifully and is definitely a plus point, as long as you make sure you aren’t going to lose it. It’s so compact that it would be easy for it to slip down the side of the sofa, for instance.All in all, I would say this is a well-produced, good quality lamp that is customisable to a variety of different needs. It is important to remember that there is a limit on how deep the clamp will open. That’s 2.2 inches or 5.6 cm, so don’t be buying it if you intend to clamp the lamp anywhere chunkier than that!

This is genuinely a good key light, and also a good desk light. High-quality, sturdy, casts PLENTY of light, really lights me up when recording video. But it's also slim, clamps nicely on my desk, and looks nice. I considered some much more expensive / famous brands, but decided to risk it with an unknown brand - and I'm glad I did. I may buy this as a gift for other friends who take Zoom calls or record video at their desks.

The media could not be loaded.  I really like this. I was looking for a lamp for my computer/box room and was attracted to this as it seemed to take minimal space and clamps right onto my computer table.The package arrived and it’s all very self explanatory and something you can put together in a couple of minutes.It comes supplied with a remote control which you can cause to turn it on/off or change the intensity, In addition to having the same controls on the shaft of the lamp. There are two types of light- brighter white light or a warmer slightly more yellow light. Both types can be turned up in intensity and there is a timer with the remote control although I haven’t used this feature yet as I just turn off the light when I’m finished in my pc room - if you use it as a lamp elsewhere then I can imagine you using the 60 minute timer function.The shaft of the lamp is adjustable and you can twist it/fix it to your desired position.This is a nice lamp and it works for me hence 5 stars.

I'm afraid I just don't get the whole 'remote control' madness. This is sold as a desk lamp. If I'm not at the desk I don't need to do anything with the lamp so don't need the remote control, which I keep on the desk. If I'm at the desk I'm right next to the desk lamp, within arms reach, so I don't need a remote control. It would be far better to scrap the remote control and instead make this compatible with Alexa or similar.Rant over - the lamp is good, it lights a good area, is dimmable, colour adjustable and securely fixes to the desk. So all in all, I'm going to use the lamp, dump the remote control and then I'm happy to recommend it.

Great little lamp for desktop work. Easy to position with a nice bright adjustable light and all in all a solid product. Clamps on firmly to the desktop and doesn't shift easily if knocked. A bit pricy for a lamp, but you are paying for the quality. Overall a good product.

The neck came off too easy. The light is bright and easy to use though
