Brother LC125XLY - Super High Yield - yellow - original - ink cartridge - for Brother DCP-J4110, MFC-J4410, J4510, J4610, J4710, J6520, J6720, J6920

I bought this genuine Brother black ink cartridge in a last ditch attempt to rectify a printing problem - the black would simply not work after a few pages, and it was suggested by other reviewers of the cheap 'compatible' inks I was using that they might be the problem. So, as the alternative was buying a new printer, I bought Brother ink from Amazon and, lo and behold, after inserting the cartridge and performing the cleaning operation twice, it printed beautifully. Although the cheaper inks were so much cheaper, they're not worth it if they don't perform; I shall certainly stick to quality ink products in the future.

Waited until the price reduced then chose the XL pack instead of the basic (and chose Brotther not own brand because of earlier mistake). Only just installed 3 out of 4 - the cartridges look a little bigger but not by a lot - should last double basic so will follow up in 6 months to confirm they have lasted longer. So far, pleased with purchase.

Brother MFC-J 6720 DW (LC-129 XL BK) This is a great buy, albeit a little too expensive. All my work is for Charity so whilst I need to watch the pennies as I no longer work, I do need also to ensure the quality of what I am printing. This is probably the best Inkjet printer I have owned and the quality (Consistently so) of the print leaves all other behind. Only wish is that it were a little more affordable. Thank you very much. Product arrived in good package and not excessive and arrived sooner than I expected.

We get through 4 or 5 of each colour a year so the "saving" considering buying "compatibles" is significant. We have tried them and found the others to be noticeably poorer quality, inconsistent "colour fastness" and far more problems that we have with the originals. This applies to all the LC125XL cartridges and especially the LC129 black. We buy the genuine product for a reasonable price and achieve excellent reliability and quality.

These work well in my Brother printer. I've tried cheaper copies in the past but am never happy with the results, so stick to these and just try to keep the use down.I've only given four stars purely because of price - quality is fine.

Brother original inks are good in colour and quality. I print quite a few A4 size photos for club competitions also use my photos to make cards and calendars

I am so please that you can get all the colours together without worrying. so when I run out of ink I have them available.

Expensive even when greatly reduced in price.What I'm hating about the Bro cartridges is - you can see there is enough ink in the window of the cartridge to print about 20 more pages, but the machine constantly gives you a monitor pop-up telling you your going to be unable to maintain print quality until you change the bloody cartridge.Once you change it the machine is happy. Try to swap back to the old cartridge to use up the remaining ink and it won't let you print- until you put the new one back in.Which Magazine should expose the "VW deception techniques" of the printer companies.
