Heavy duty wall plugs. Hold much better than cheap plastic ones
I got these as I was planning to install 2 towell radiators 1800 X 600 and I never trust the flimsy wall plugs they give you, especially if mounting on plaster backed walls. These are easy to use. Use a 10mm drill bit to drill your hole, tap in with a rubber mallet until flush ( to prevent damage ). Then when in place add a screw and use an electric screwdriver or decent torque drill to tighten and expand the plug. It's not a by hand manual job you need a drill for this to work properly. When tightened the plastic backing expands and grips the back of the wall pretty well. This is not as strong as a metal anchor bolt, but it is significantly better than a flimsy wall plug. The towell radiators went up, and stayed up and have even survived the wife leaning on it like a hand rail. These are big enough to deal with chunky and heavy purposes and are ideal for plaster walls or tiled wall with plaster backing. I haven't tested them on masonry or concrete but I get the impression they would do the job pretty well. The box contains 75 plugs which is good value for the quality. Recommended. Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it useful

High quality wall plug of clever design
Well worth using for the more difficult fixing requirements, these seem to have much less tendency to spin and their unusual two-piece design really works very well.

Great strong hold
These are simply the only wall plugs to buy, they grip really well, expand for plasterboard and take a huge amount of weight if needed.Easy to fit, they grip well and hold. You can also easily extract them by partially inserting a screwI only get these in different sizes now, everything else is rubbish by comparison
