This at a store would be so expensive.. the only reason why I didn’t give it all the stars is that it’s a bit heavy .. but I guess that’s better than it being flimsy (???) Am using it as part of my costume. I’m going as Miss America : )

I got this crown for dress up for my 6 year old. This crown is vey well made, solid, not easily breakable. It would be beautiful for occasional use (wedding for a bride or something) if you have a stylist or someone else to put it in, but otherwise, there is no way it will stay on your head. It is circular also (not "head" shaped), so if you don't put your hair up to fill in the gaps and give it something to rest on, it won't sit properly on your head. It has three small loops built into the inside, and comes with a few bobby pins, which is kind of ridiculous since they don't really fit the loops, and don't sit at the proper angle for the bobby pin to go through the loop and then through the hair. I feel like even a stylist would have a hard time getting it to stay on. When I tried arranging my daughters hair for it to "hold" the crown more (I spent like 15 minutes, seriously), it still didn't stay on longer than 5 minutes. She loved how shiny it was, and tried playing with it repeatedly for a day or two, but since we can't get it to stay on longer than 30 seconds, it now sits in the bottom of the dress up trunk.

Very heavy weighted it stayed in all night with the Hair pins they provided for me I was able to carry it on my flight in my suitcase and it didn't get damaged...To me you came out looking cute

We used this to crow my granny at her funeral,she passed at the young age of 92. It was so beautiful and she deserved it. This crow was perfect….. Job well done here on earth granny now take your rest,we love and miss you. I recommend this product for whatever occasion you may need it for.

I wore as the host of a costume birthday party and I had to fight with it all night long. The Bobby pins it came with didn't hold it in place in my short hair, and its so flat and circular that it perched atop my head with a lot of gaps off my head and the holes on the inside of the crown that are supposed to hold it place with the Bobby pins weren't even near my hair/scalp because of the circular shape of the crown. The pins were eventually just sticking out all over and I spent the night holding my head perfectly still like a stepford wife so the crown didn't slip off. It was a lot of effort on a stressful night. Maybe it would have been more secure in longer hair, but it was a clear no for me.
