Good quality. Very sturdy and very easy to install

Needed a vent hose to work with a 4 inch grow tent fan to remove heat from the new seedlings. This dryer hose works perfectly for that purpose. The hose is easily stretched to its full length and bent to fit any needed space; the material appears quite strong and I think should last virtually forever. The insulation is a plus, and while not needed for a grow tent (the lights are not that hot), it would be beneficial for a dryer application; the insulation coating appears to be adequate although I do hot have any way to test how much heat would actually be conducted to the outside from a dryer. I had a difficult time fitting the hose over a 4 inch to 6 inch adapter, but eventually got it to work; the tight fit and supplied hose clamps are actually a plus to make an airtight connection.

Our dryer sits at the bottom of the basement whereas the ventilation hole is cut near the top of the ceiling, forcing us to use a long hose. I was glad to find this on Amazon as the last one tore and it was hard to find one that was long enough. With the length, installation is so much easier. The clamps are high-quality clamps with tightening screws (versus the wire ones where you force open). I hope this serves us for a long time!

Who knew you could get excited about a dryer vent hose, but here we are. I ordered this because it could be delivered faster than I could make it to the big box store. And I must say, this is better than any dryer vent hose I've ever seen! It's got 2 layers, versus the thin jiffy-pop type aluminum stuff I've had before. I've also tried plastic vent hoses, which don't rip like the aluminum ones do, but they aren't very flexible either. This one appears to have solved both of those problems. As you can see from my photo, there's almost no space behind our dryer, so much bending is needed. This thing even looks nice, if that's a possible thing. Buy this, you'll be happy!
