Amazon Essentials Men's Full-Zip Polar Fleece Vest (Available in Big & Tall)

I was looking for a lightweight fleece vest to use before the really cold weather set in. The Amazon Essentials Men's Full-Zip Polar Fleece Vest is exactly what I was looking for.Although the material is listed as recycled polyester, it has the soft feel you would expect. The two outer pockets have zippers and the full zip front makes it easy to put the vest on and off.My usual size for jackets and sweaters is XL so I ordered this vest in XL and the fit is perfect. The Heather Brown is a nice color and it looks just as good with jeans as it does with dressier pants. You also can't beat the price.Overall, I think the quality is good. Time will tell how long it lasts but at this price, even if I just get a couple of seasons out of it, it is worth the money.

We know Amazon Essential is a bargain/value brand. But this vest was better than expected at this price ($17.43). I needed a vest for my work at a public school, to be worn casually and for warmth during cold days. This vest is comfortable and warm, and the quality while not premium, is very good. It has 2 zippered side pockets and 2 inner pockets for convenience. It fits nicely over my body and looks good too! If you need in inexpensive vest that will give you warmth, then this is a great choice! Recommended!

Needed to replace a fleece vest I gave away to someone that needed layered warmth on the spot. Chose this one. It's a good fleece vest for its cost. I'll use as light wait warmth or in layer for other warm dressing. Strikes good balance for both uses = warm enough, not too bulky. The fit is good. I got x-large as tall and big. Only small negative is I have a beard and it catches some in the zipper of collar if zipped loosely up but not tight. A flap inside collar covering upper zipper now appearing in higher end outdoor garments, solves this, absent here. I like the dark red color of what I selected. That's a bit unusual in this type of vest.

I've been doing a lot of hiking recently and wanted to have an affordable layer in my pack for chilly mornings. I didn't want to spend more than $25-30, and this was $23 on sale, which was perfect for me. I have a polar fleece Amazon Basics jacket, and it's super warm. The vest is the same material, very cozy and spacious. It definitely runs a bit large, but that's OK. I think if I sized down, it would've been too small for layering.

Was looking for lightest fleece for the mildly cool days. This vest fits the bill. Fit is good and very happy with the comfort. Pockets are nicely accessible and chest pocket is convenient. Zipper is pretty thin and sometimes takes a bit of doing to fasten, but in this price range that is expected. If you are looking for a heftier, longer-lasting zipper you will have to go with a more expensive vest. For the money this one is a superb value.

I usually buy a name brand fleece vests but took a chance on the Amazon brand when it was on sale. I must say it looks and feels great! excellent quality and fits true to size. Recommend!

I have a 34 inch chest and am 5’6” (on a good day).I purchased the extra small and it has a great fit around the chest and the arm holes are the correct size; the only flaw in the fit is unfortunately a big one, it’s way the heck too long! Like, literally 6 inches too long. The center back measurement is 28 1/2 inches and the center front measurement is 22 1/2 inches. The Patagonia product (Men's Synchilla Fleece Vest) that this vest is trying to emulate has a center back measurement of 24 1/4 inches and a Center front measurement of 21 inches for their extra small. This seems to be a constant and continual theme for most all clothing manufactured for smaller framed ladies and gentlemen, like yours truly; it’s too long. The inappropriate length makes it look sloppy and gets in the way when doing outdoor or active activities. If the manufacture would fix the length, this would be a great fitting vest.A few other notes: this is not a super high-quality vest, BUT the price is more or less appropriate for the quality you’ll receive, so you’re not getting massively ripped off or anything (if you want something really high-quality, go pay the high-price for the Patagonia vest this product is modeled after). It’s very comfortable and the material is very thin. This is a light weight vest, for either not super cold weather, or a layer for layering with other clothing in the colder stuff.

I am 5’11” and 163 lbs . Originally bought a medium navy color with black pocket.Color is actually purple and size was too big. Returned for a “small” in gray with black pocket . Fits much better. Actually nicer than others I have had . It is light and warm. The pockets have a double layer of material so they are more wind resistant than some other vests with single layer. It actually looks good . Just bought it to work in shop, but is nicer than I thought it wood be.

Bought this for my husband to wear on the golf course when it can still be a bit chilly in the early spring. He is 6'0, 190 lbs and typically wears a size L in shirts. I purchased a size L and it fits perfectly over shirts with some room to swing the club comfortably. Good pockets and zipper.

I am surprised by the quality and very pleased with the feel of this black vest. It's very well made, of good thickness and warmth. I enjoy wearing it. My weight is about 150 lbs, and I'm 6 feet tall, but I chose the XL to afford more room over the abdomen, where I have two stomas following cancer surgery. Otherwise, my size would be L. The vest is true-to-fit.
