Leather Craft Tool 1/2/4/6 Prong Lacing Stitching Punch Hole (4mm)

Have bought two of these in different sizes and both have been excellent. Punches thread holes in layers of leather allowing you to perform saddle stitching with ease. Excellent quality and great value for money. Highly recommended.

I haven't used these yet, but look perfect for my leather projects

Easy to use to mark leather, but the metal is not very hard and will be easily damaged if struck too hard with a hammer. They are unlikely to last very long.

I bought these as an experiment to see if I liked the look of 5mm spacing and didn't want to spend too much as I planned to buy a more professional set if all went well. To be honest, they were pretty unusable straight out of the pack. When you punched through the leather they clung to it like glue due to the ridges between the tynes and I thought I would have to buff them down to make them useable. Before I went to all that trouble, though, I thought I would rub them down with a cheap tea candle from Ikea and that seemed to do the trick. They slid in and out of the leather like butter, although regular application of wax was needed. Honestly, if you are are just starting outland on a tight budget these will do the job with plenty of wax until you can afford a a better set.

Always wanted a way to make even holes for sewing leather. I saw somebody using this in a video and had to have it. Works great.

Picking irons are pretty decent, what I really like is the hammer. It is small yes, but for stamping it’s absolutely perfect. Used it a lot, but the head came loose, simple enough to hold the head and twist the handle. I’m very pleased with both
