Aelga Black Salt and Pepper Shakers , Salt Shaker with Adjustable Pour Holes, Glass Salt Pepper Shaker Set, Ideal for Black Pepper, Kosher and Sea Salt

These shakers are lovely and the adjustable top is perfect, with good resistance when you turn the dial. It doesn't feel like they will wear down or become loose, which was my biggest concern. They came nicely packaged with clear cleaning and care instructions.The only thing I think some people might not like is that these shakers will definitely become smudged with grease and/or fingerprints on both the glass and metal quite easily, but a quick wipe with a microfiber cloth should have them sparkling again. I don't mind this one bit, will actually help me to remember to wipe them down when cleaning, but probably not suitable for people who hate to clean or have young sticky children. ;D

First the things I like- It looks nice, is a good size and I find it easy to grip. The see-through base makes it easy to tell what's inside. The flow control lid is great. It means you can use either unit at table or while cooking. Follow the manufacturer's suggestion and fill only 3/4 full because they will dispense beter.The only thing I don't like is that the part of the lid that turns is closely fitted to the part beneath it. It is done that way to keep salt from getting trapped between the two parts. Unfortunately, it also traps water there when you clean it. I don't expect they'll need cleaning often but I wish those parts could be disassembled. It 's not a deal breaker just a minor annoyance. I really like them & am still giving them five stars.

These salt and pepper bottles are perfect, portable and well made, the top is made out of a smooth durable black mate plastic for longer lasting conditions. Especially the silvery texture it has brings up a lot on the amenities. Excellent for family dinning tables

These are heavy and sturdy, and hold plenty of salt or pepper. The lid is an issue. It spins to reveal four different hole sizes so you can pour more or less out. That's convenient, until someone forgets to spin it back to the 'put a little salt on your food' setting and you end up with twin mountains of salt in the middle of a burger. Also, particles get under the lid and it's hard to clean. Last - they are identical from the top and not marked - there is a clear band of glass at the bottom which shows the contents. Makes it hard to pick up the one you want if you keep them in any kind of tray or container. Overall I like them, but I would like them more if the lid popped off for cleaning and some kind of way to tell the salt from the pepper was added.
