Excellent siphon
After sucking one of my danios up with my old siphon(thankfully it survived) I decided to purchase this due to the fish saver grate. It's so much better than my old one, long enough for my tall tank so I don't have to put my whole arm in. The starting mechanism works very well and starts quickly, it doesn't scare the fish too much because it's over so quick. The valve is very useful on a sand substrate to realease sand that gets siphoned up by accident, it can also be turned to prevent fish being sucked in. The clips are very useful as they both hold the pipe in the bucket and hold the hose on the side of the tank as I empty the bucket so the siphon doesn't need to be restarted. Feels well made and has a two year warranty, don't think you could get much better to be honest.

Not so easy to get going but...
Okay so the major flaw I see with this is getting it pumping...I don't know if its because my tank isn't deep enough (30cm) we have to revert to sucking on the tube, which isn't my favourite job! But once it gets going it's brill. I like the hose as it is not as rigid as others I've used and the clips for the bucket/tank are genious! We have sand at the bottom of our tank and useless you dig the hoover right in it doesn't drag much sand out...again better than others I've used. If I see the end too full of sand I just raise it up and it all sinks back out. The end tube is mostly rounded but it also has a corner on it for the corners!

Does exactly what it needs to do.
Great value for money. If you are looking for something that is cheap and will do the job, this is it. Minimal fuss and does what it was made to do.

Great product but someone needs to check everything’s in the box before they sell them as a return
Works a treat. Bought mine as a return so it was a bargain but it didn’t have the clips that hold the top part to the main unit. Fixed it with two tooth picks otherwise it would have been a 5 star review

Total waste of money.
A flawed product I don't even know how this even left the drawing board. The starting mechanism causes a tsunami in your nano tank when trying to start it. The water drains far too quickly for you to remove detritus from your tank. The hose that comes supplied with it is thick and rigid so you can't even apply pressure to that to slow the flow down.

Uncontrollable
This product is not practical and doesn't work for a small 40 litre tank. The diameter is too big for a planted tank. The house is thick and doesn't unravel. The clip hold it to a bucket but the thickness of the hose moves the bucket until it is part full. No way of adjusting or stopping the flow rate on this model. Fast flow so fills bucket too quickly. I have ditched this.

Great for a 90l tank, once you get the motion down.
Took me a couple of tries to start the syphon. You have to move it up and down in a vertical motion making sure its fully submerged. Doesn't matter if its fast or slow, as long as it's a consistent motion. Once the water gets halfway down the tube gravity/physics does the rest (just make sure your bucket is lower than your tank or it wont work.Does a good job at cleaning the substrate (I have sand), just use it like you would a vacuum cleaner.I got the smaller version but done so as I wanted to have more time to clean up. Even then it fills a15 litre bucket fairly quickly. Can only imagine how fast the XL version is.Great product, highly recommend. One last thing, the ring seal was at the bottom of the box. Make sure its connected inside the syphon head otherwise it won't work. I almost threw it away with the box.

Hated it at first, Love it now.
Okay, so this thing had me fuming the first time I tried to use it. I just couldn't get it suck up the water. But after, no joke 10 minutes in a furious rage not being able to do it and this being the only thing I had available to me for water changes / gravel cleaning I finally got the "knack" of it.The second time I used it I had it sucking up dirt and water within 20 seconds. I can't describe perfectly how I did it, but in an effort to I placed it in the water of my fluval flex 34l betta tank, then I jerked it up and down in short strokes super fast, when the water reached the top of the yellowish tube I then jerked fast but also from side to side slightly with the tube still facing vertically down. Its all in the wrist action and I'm terrible at explaining. But once you've got the knack of it this things amazing. I bought a neglected fluval flex so I needed a gravel cleaner ASAP and a siphon. When cleaning the gravel I get really close to the gravel, it then sucks up a little gravel and looks like tornado working it's magic, to stop it sucking up an entire tubes worth of gravel I back off slightly. I can literally get right into the gravel with this thing and it'll clean it like a tornado effect on the tube. First time I tried insucked up too much gravel and filled the entire tube haha, again its all about the knack of it and wrist action. So yes, what I thought initially was a total waste of money turned out amazing for doing its job and yes its also easy to get right into the corners of the tank with this.I'd recommend practicing in a bucket first if you're worried about stressing fish, but once you've the knack of it, it'll take less than 30 seconds of rapid wrist action to make it work. I actually really like this thing now and the tanks gravel is looking so much better with every water change I do ☺️

Consegna perfetta. Soddisfatto.

Handy tool
The vacuum cleaner is easy to assemble, use and clean. No need to suck water with you mouth anymore!Cleans gravel nicely, but can only lift fine particles (like food remains) and not heavy items (like snail remains). Still use it for every aquarium cleaning and find it very useful.

Aspiratore del fondo GC30
Aspiratore molto funzionale.
