Lid knob
Bought this coffee percolator everything was fine until the knob on the lid shattered while percolating, the shop did not have a replacement knob so offered me half price refund i agreed then i went searching for a knob to fit little known to me the only place i can get them is in US which cost $6 + $50 postage absolute joke, coffee pot as been sitting in my pantry since, if you do buy one of these make sure you know where you can obtain a lid knob locally because it will shatter trust me, very disappointed customer

which pleased me. The percolator pleased me even more
Arrived quite a bit earlier than indicated, which pleased me. The percolator pleased me even more. Delighted with it- everything about it performs well; it seems to be well made; it handles nicely. I would buy it again, should the need ever arise!

We like Everything about this percolator! We use it in the house as well as our camper. I wouldn’t change a thing.

Great cuppa
I used to have a filter machine but this is way better. Makes amazing coffee. Even great to take away camping with the family.

Mornings are an absolute pleasure with this little beauty
The media could not be loaded. We were given this percolator and a drum of coffee as a gift from our dear friend and having drank instant coffee for years, I can honestly say that firing up this percolator first thing in the morning has totally revitalised us. The aroma of the coffee when the percolator starts bubbling is just delicious, just like walking into a coffee shop. Setting it up is so easy it’s not worth mentioning and washing it is a doddle, we just disassemble the few parts, empty the residual ground coffee in the bin and soak the parts in hot, soapy water - we could put it in the dishwasher but I don’t want to spoil the outer finish in any way. We use Kirkland Columbian coffee with it as our friend included it with the percolator as a gift, we use four heaped tablespoons, wait for the water to start bubbling (see video) then turn the gas right down and leave it for about fifteen minutes. The end result is a lovely, rich, aromatic cup of proper coffee that knocks instant coffee out of the water. It is a pricey piece but looks the part on the stove, best gift we have ever received - thank you Hazel! 😘

Perfect perc.
Percolated coffee isn't so popular these days but as a child it was the only coffee I ever enjoyed. None of the instant stuff or espresso-based muck for me! Percing is the way to go!My wife and I actually bought one of these Farberware stove top percolators on a trip to the USA a few years ago and we use it when we are camping as it works on a camping gas cooker (as well as your home cooker, if you like). Makes anything from a couple of cups to a full pot of nice, rich, flavoursome coffee. You can see when it begins percolating and how strong your coffee is by keeping an eye on the transparent knob atop the lid, where the liquid is forced up. When it's as strong as you like, turn down the heat and let it keep the coffee warm. It's good for a couple of hours that way.the unit is well made, strong (it's survived four years in a trailer up and down the country), and you can get spare knobs for the lid though ours has never broken. If you enjoy percolated coffee this is great! I hand grind beans coarsely as modern filter blend is a bit fine, leaving a sediment of coffee grinds.
