Bought an IKEA Kivik sectional and the legs were only 1.5in tall. Loved the couch but didn't want it this short, and in the showroom it looked less obvious since everything else was also short. After seeing a blog post about someone else raising this couch, I went ahead and measured for about a 17-18" high seating experience and discovered that these 4" legs would do nicely for that.1 star off for 2 things:1) The Brackets. Since IKEA drills quite large holes for the plastic feet that come with the sectional, I had to also buy another set of larger square brackets to accommodate the 5/16 thread of the leg, but that had more girth for the securing screws to go into the wood frame.2) Screwing the legs in all the way doesn't guarantee a result in their faces sitting parallel with the sides of the furniture. Some may be front facing and others were slightly askew. Leaving them less than fully screwed in meant wobbly legs. To solve this problem I devised using washers between the legs and the brackets so I could screw them in "enough" to be flush and still not wobble.

I’m not sure if it’s just me or not, but all furniture seems to sit low nowadays. My sectional was so low on the ground that I honestly wanted to buy another one (I was outside of the return window). These saved me thousands of dollars and were very easy to install.
