Simple card but a very effective and well madePurchased for sentimental reasons and the humour

I was really happy with this birthday card. It is difficult to find a suitable card for my son in law - most are either slushy versed or just plain rude. This one, with its humorous 'Winne the Poo' quip on the front fitted the bill nicely, especially because he is very fond of bacon sandwiches. It came with a good, well fitting envelope and is blank on the inside for my own message.The current price of £3.99 is good value for money, in my opinion, for the great quality of this card.

There is nothing. Dislike about this card. I would buy it again.

First: this card is not just for birthdays. Although identified that way in the description, there is no message on the inside (it's entirely blank) and the card could be used for a variety of different purposes. The back of the card includes a bar code, some information about the company, info about sustainability/compostability, and a short description that includes the word "birthday," but unless your card recipient is the type to analyze small font labeling on the back, you may rest assured that they will have no idea this is a "birthday" card unless your message to them says so (or you fail to tell them, but they receive it on their birthday and are sufficiently astute to surmise the reason for your card giving).The card is made out of nice, durable cardstock and provides plenty of writing surface on the inside for either a long or short message.It's possible that I'll use the card for a birthday, but this is a versatile card that could be used for many different occasions.

My wife's pet name growing up was piglet and she always had piglet stuffed animals etc. My humor tends to be a little off/dark and so this card was a perfect fit for my wife and my humor. Her birthday isn't for a few more weeks so we'll see how well it lands.As for the card itself, the print and cardstock quality don't feel cheap and look nice. Also, despite being shipped in just a plain Amazon bubble mailer without cardboard etc to protect it, it arrived pretty much in perfect shape without any creases or crushed corners. I suspect I may have gotten lucky in that regard, but maybe it's cheap enough to be worth the risk vs over packaging all of them.
