Avtex STH2000 Suction Mounted Caravan TV Aerial

only problem I had was that I had to buy an adaptor to convert the 12v to 240v so I could plug in the aerial, we where in the middle of nowhere in the caravan and the aerial got all freeview channels, no problem, no messing about - I just stuck it onto the outside of the side window of the caravan using the sucker attachment and threaded the coax cable through the window. actually I got better reception with this aerial than our freeview upstairs at home using our roof aerial

Sticks very well to the outside of the windows but remember not to open the window all the way when it's fitted. Reception suprisingly good and generally very happy with it except ..... I will be replacing it for a directional roof aerial as if your TV is on the other side of the caravan to the TV reception then you've got an unsightly and horrible cable dangling from one side of the interior to the other.

I use this aerial on my new Swift Kontiki 659 - twin axle - I avoided the market leading aerials as I had experience of them before and got fed up with hole in the roof, turning poles, twiddling handles to adjust angle and remembering to lower before moving off.This aerial works - I just move around the Inside or outside of the Motorhome to get a signal. Seems to work for me at a bargain price.Recommended

Suctoin needs to be stronger

Excellent product, does what it says, fixes firmly to caravan with suction pad, very effective. Set up is a doddle, and the company is really excellent in providing further details - I bought this as a present and wondered what would happen if the recipient was unable to make it function - no trouble at all to return, just the return postage. However, this never happened. !00% all round where others had failed!

The arial performance has been excellent. All the attachments allow for a permanent fix. The only negative aspect was when using the suction cup mounting, it does not always stay fixed. That matter being minor. I have travelled all over the country and got good signal in places I have never been able to get any reception. Really worth every penny.

this is worth every penny.i bought this after reading the reviews.as i coudnt get a good enough signal using my status aerial/booster on my campervan,i plugged this in to my tv and wow fantastic signal.i recieved every freeview channel also. its less bulky and the size is great to stow away in the cupboard. i fully recommend this aerial to anyone its just fantastic and a 3rd of the price of caravan aerials on the market. i lost count on how many people i met that camping weekend commented on how great the picture was!! 10/10 well done avtex you have my vote. very very happy

Arrived very quickly. Have only had time to try this out on the caravan parked outside on the driveway. It picked up loads of channels on my tv and the signal was pretty good. I would add my tv is not Avtex but as long as you have a 12v output nearby to plug in the amplifier you'll be fine. It's also small so handy to pack away when travelling.
