C.R. LAURENCE DL2521DU CRL Dark Bronze Floor Mounted Heavy-Duty Door Stop with Hook and Holder

We needed a way to keep our front door open when cross ventilating our house. It keeps that door from closing without having to place something on the floor to block it from moving. Installation was easy and it looks good.

I bought these for my French doors that open to my deck. They work. This year, 13 years later, I did some deck repair and the contractors lost them somehow. It's okay, if there is anything wrong with these it is that the rubber can come off. I was wanting to replace them for fresh ones. Have you seen the magnetic ones? Those are appealing but these can stand a tornado with the one bummer that you have to bend over and thread the needle to lock them in place or release the latch. For a decade I have done it and these have done a fine job. No complaints except for the rubber (only on one). To be honest, the rubber thing is because my grill rubbed against it during a storm, so I don't hold it against this unit. The gold is very pretty, and fit with my deck back them. I am getting back this year.

Product is great, heavy duty and hardware provided for multiple mounting surfaces. We ordered two of them . Seller simply dropped them in a box with not protection and it arrived with several marks and chips to the finish. Try and find another seller.

i didn't take the option of a refund from the seller (see rest of review below) because i needed a VERY heavy duty hook & holder, floor mounted door stop to secure a door that also has a grab bar on it... you never want to install a safety grab bar on anything that moves, like a door, but we had no other options-- this stop also seats into a bored hole in the floor so it won't easily shift with the weight of a person should they slip & pull on the grab bar to prevent falling--there were multiple problems with receiving my order-- however, customer service with the seller was fantastic... finally expedited shipping to me with the doorstop after it had been 'lost in transit' or something for over 2wks of pursuing the tracking by the seller-- WELL WORTH THE WAIT!!

The door stop is only four inches tall and not 6" as advertised.

Perfect. Looked all over and this is it. Old school but works great. Hope this lasts another 50 years like the old one. Thanks!

Mounting was not as easy as I had hoped. The anchor bolts were to small and light for serious use. A larger anchor and industrial epoxy will permanently affix better.

I am very impressed with the quality of this product and the price. Other doorstops, designed like this one, were quite a bit more expensive. These are indeed heavy duty and have a removeable mounting bolt on the bottom as well as three screw holes on the base plate. Sturdy, heavy construction and nice finish at a great price.
