I would give them 10 stars were it possible!
I am an avid power walker who puts a lot of miles on his running shoes and I also heap a lot of abuse on my feet and any socks that I wear. These KentWool socks are all high-density wool, but, they feel soft and buttery. The difference between wearing these KentWool socks rather than the second best running socks I ever tried is like adding a bed of feathers between the soles of my feet and the insoles of my shoes. I can't even imagine wearing anything else! And, if you think the price to be too high, please know that I have 2 pairs that are over 5 years old without any holes in them. I just can't explain it myself, but, these people know what they are doing for sure. Do yourself a favor and buy a pair, it'll be the best money you ever spent!

If you walk the course - this is your sock!
I love to walk 18 holes, but my feet are my weak link. I get blisters on the bottom of my forefoot and heal. I saw that the sock carried a no blister guarantee, so I gave them a try. I live in the hot, humid Texas Gulf Coast, so I was a little unsure about wool at first. Anyway I purchased a couple of pair to try out. I now have five or six rounds on them and considered it time to write a review. The socks do protect you from blisters. After looking at the socks when they come out of the wash, I believe that they do this by moving with the shoe. The socks are kind of fuzzy at the pressure points that show the socks move and not just your feet to avoid blistering. Of course, I'm no expert, but that seems to be the trick. In other words, the socks take the rubbing back and forth rather than your foot. It's kind of hard to explain, but that must be why your feet don't blister, but the sock has a fuzzy spot where the blister would normally be. The socks are cool and comfortable. After a few wearings and washings they are as good as new, but they seem to not look as good as new. They look worn, but I don't really care what they look like, I just want to make sure they are comfortable, which they are. If your feet blister because of movement of your skin against a shoe, this sock works. If your feet blister because of movement of one toe against another toe, then it doesn't. I still have to tape my outside toes to protect them against each other, but that is no big deal. I purchased the high crew length type sock and it works fine as well. I purchased these Tour Profile socks and they seem just high enough to clear the top of my golf shoes. I don't think I'd get the lower profile sock that is offered because I'm not sure they would clear the top of my shoe and I don't like leather against bare ankles. Another reason that I think these socks work well is that Kentwool doesn't have a "one size fits all" mentality. You need to know your shoe size so that you get the right size sock.

Soft and Breathable
Love these socks. They fit well, really breathe well and keep the odor away. They are soft and don't constrict the foot. I couldn't believe how well they kept my feet warm but also kept them dry and no sweaty stink!

Consider ordering directly from Kentwool
Nice socks, but the black pair I got from this supplier were not the same size as indicated on the package - they were too small. I bought another pair on Amazon the same size in a different color (white, or "natural") that came from another supplier, and they fit fine (both packages were labeled as being size L). Haven't worn them yet, but they seem like nice socks, and a friend recommended them. My advice, though, is to order directly from the Kentwool.com site.

Love these for Golf! Great material, great feel! great color options!
I have heard all of the paid for ads and decided to give tase a shot (my first pair). I have to say, I think they are a bit overpriced, but I LIKE THEM ALOT. I love the material! No blisters, COMFORTABLE, I like the thickness, as my golf shoe have stretched a bit and these give you good padding in a golf shoe. The material is cool in the heat, warm in the winter (but I do not tend to wear low cut in the winter). I love the color options. I will definitely be buying more, but first, need to win the lottery! :-) I would put these socks under the heading of EXPENSIVE and darn well worth it. The only thing that I cannot comment on at this point in time is "durability"...just have not had them long enough to comment.

Great golf sock
These golf socks are my husband's favorites for softness, durability, and comfort. They are a bit more expensive than other golf socks. Would have given them a 5 star because the seller did not advertise these as "seconds" on the website, however, that is how they were marked when the socks arrived. They were a gift and seem to be fine yet there needs to be better clarity in the description if these are not first quality.

Love these socks and have worn them for many years
Love these socks and have worn them for many years. I have the black and the Natural color. Both fit snugly but are a dream if you walk when golfing, especially on hot sweaty days. This sock has the "Tour Profile" which is the collar around the ankle, and stays on the foot much better for me than the "Low Profile" that would slip down into my golf shoe. I don't put these socks into the dryer, to avoid shrinking. I have dried them, but they are always too snug due to the heat, and take a bit to stretch out. I simply wash, and reshape and let them dry on a towel. Added bonus is that these outlast other socks I've purchased, so the added cost is worth the investment.

Want foot comfort while playing golf? Buy some of these.
Great socks for golfers. Very comfortable. I had heard that they were a favorite of tour caddies. Also several friends already owned them and raved about them. My feet hurt all the time so I tried them. I was and am very pleased with their performance and how much better my feet feel at the end of a round of golf. Great socks. A bit expensive, so I am buying pairs two at a time until I have enough, but they are worth it in comfort.
