Such a fun game for all the family, with your pooch as the game master!
This game didn't really work with my mastiff; she just walked through the pins to get to the ball, stopped getting the ball after a couple of goes, then decided it was more fun to run off with the pins and try to destroy them while the family chased her to get them back. So I think this game is best suited to an energetic dog who loves to play fetch and doesn't have a need to destroy.I think it's a fun game that's worth trying with your dog or even with a cat that likes playing with balls. I think it is expensive for what it is. I wish it was clearer how much of the sale profit goes to the Dogs Trust, as that would maybe make the high cost a bit more acceptable if you knew that the charity was getting a good proportion.

Good fun, good value - ideal for Christmas day!
Ok, this game is not for everyone. For starters, you need a dog. Fortunately, we have one. And, admittedly, the novelty does wear off. 1/2 through the game given our dogs attention span. But this is such a fun idea!Go bowling with your dog as the bowling ball. Its not quite like that, your dog is more 'bulldozer' than 'ball'.It's a simple premise, set up the cardboard 'skittles' and then guess how many she will knock over when she chases a nice, soft ball.We had a dry run (for this review) the main game will be played, with family + dog, on Christmas Day.Will we ever play it again? Who knows? However, some of the profits go to a dogs charity and, even if only for an hour, such a colourful and novel game is good value. As we are all adults in my household I think I will substitute 'shots' for a score card - the dog will have to make do with a tasty treat!

Think this was a return resent out
A lovely idea, however; There was clear damage on one of the bones;Only one piece of score paper, not a pad;The box had obviously been as the original seal had been sliced through and a new one stuck over the top.Not the biggest of deals, as we kept this one for our dog, I'm just worried that the one we gifted is also in this condition.

Novelty Game, Expensive but Supports Dogs Trust
Yes, this is a novelty game that won’t have staying power, but it is a bit of fun and your dog will love the included ball! The idea is that you throw the ball over the bones (pins) and the dog knocks them down while fetching the ball. Players score on how many pins they estimated would be knocked over. The pins area glossy cardboard, on plastic stands. You will need to watch that your dog doesn’t chew on these. The ball is a gorgeous colour & super soft, so makes a lovely doggy toy in my opinion. It also means the game is furniture/house-friendly!This game is a bit of fun which includes the family pet. It’s a bit pricey for what it is, but is beautifully presented and each purchase supports the Dogs Trust.

With a tweak can work well
Okay so this is all going to come down to your dogMine has zero interest in fetching balls and has more fun running away with them, in a play chase game.So not going to work you'd thing - well we adapted it by using a treat ball, and now works well as he will run through the skittles happily if there is a treat at the end of it.Just can't play too many times else he'll get fat - Great idea just need a dog that is willing to play ball (see what I did there)

Great Fun For All The Family
This is great fun for everybody to enjoy, including the pooch. It comes with a soft ball for the dog and the bowling pins and scorecards. It seems well made and of good quality. The ball is soft, so it wont damage any walls or furniture but your dog really needs to give it back and not run off to chew it.Highly recommend but not sure how long it'll last but it is certainly fun to play.

Daft but fun idea for a party game to involve the family dog too!
Maybe a bit silly but this is a fun idea for a party game that can involve kids, grown ups and the family dog too. My nephew and his wife have two kids and young Labrador, so I think this will be a great idea for a bit of Christmas party fun.I looked in the box but everything is packed in in a very concise fashion so I was worried that if I took everything out to photograph, I’d never get it back in again! Since it’s a present, I didn’t want it to look messed up.Fortunately, on the back of the box is a QR code that takes you to a video link showing people actually playing the game, so I could see it all in action. The bowling pins are ten bone-shaped cutouts on thick card that you stand up. Then each human participant chooses a number from 1 to 10 which is their guess of his many ‘pins’ will get knocked down. The element of chance is your dog! You throw the soft plush bowling ball not at the pins but beyond them and when you’re dog rushes to fetch it and bring it back, you count how many pins get knocked down in the process. The nearer each person’s guess is to that number, the more points they score.Looks and sounds like lively, lighthearted and jolly good fun for everyone - even the dog!

Lots of fun - while it lasts!
I think Ten Bone Bowling: A Party Game You Can Play With Your Dog is an absolutely lovely idea, which is genuinely fun to play and has got us as a family interested in similar family games that can be played with the furry family members too.The build quality is pretty good all round - everything has been pretty well tuned to be doggy friendly but although it seems pretty slobber and claw proof at first, we have seen a little bit of surface damage due to very excited doggo’s after only a couple of games, so I’m personally not sure how long it’ll last us.I was initially concerned that the pin floor clips would end up being kicked and end up flying everywhere but I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the build quality all round and I can’t emphasise enough how genuinely fun the game is to play.
