It doesn’t detect any smell in the room and consequently doesn’t turn on in automatic mode. Update after 6 months: it completely stopped working and there’s no warranty.

Bought this item thinking it would be easy to use it and change the filters. Very disappointed, 9 months later, I cannot find any replacement filter. The machine is not usable any more. Don’t recommend

This air purifier is lighter than expected, and it is very easy to use with only two control buttons. The design is also stylish, so it blends well with the room without disrupting the overall interior decor.

I love this. Having done a fair amount of research this came up the best of the bunch within my budget. It was so simple to set up and I certainly noticed a difference within a couple of days. I live near a buy road and have a neighbour underneath who smokes in the room underneath my bedroom so this is giving me both peace of mind and helping with horrible smells from the smoke. It appears to be quite sensitive, though less so if the tobacco smoke is milder, and will kick in mostly as expected if left on auto. It will even kick in if I am showering and using fragranced products and haven't closed the bathroom door (and my bathroom is down the hall from my bedroom). Looking at the app, I can see it turns on at various points during the day when the levels of pollutants in my room go above normal even if I haven't noticed anything. Very happy I bought this, even if I wish the 'Auto' mode was a little more sensitive to tobacco smoke. I have now bought a Mini-max one for elsewhere as I love the Max so much!

Do not buy if you are in Italy - it comes with a UK plug. Customer service knows this. They should not be shipping to Italy.

I have lung disease & like many people house dust, pollen & other air particles affect my breathing. When I researched air purifiers, this one had great reviews & they weren’t wrong. After one day, I noticed how much cleaner the air felt. After 3 months of use, I use my inhaler less & don’t cough up half as much filthy gunk as previously. Nice! As I have it close to my bed, I’m happy to say I don’t hear it at all until the fans kick in when it detects pollution. Most of the time it sits silently with the blue light on & you forget it’s there. The other night my neighbours had a barbecue and even before I smelt the smoke the blue light changed colour & the fan kicked in. I suspect they burnt the sausages but the smoke soon cleared thanks to my trusty Blueair. It really is quick off the ball & you don’t need to do anything except enjoy the clean air. I notice the house gets a lot less dust in now too, even though the Blueair is only in my bedroom. I bought the Blue Max 3250i which says does up to 48m square & I find that works great for my small 2 bed bungalow. I haven’t changed filters yet, so i don’t know how long they will last. But so far, i’m very happy with it. For 4 years I lived with a much cheaper brand but I would never go back. This is much, much more effective. I love my BlueAir.

Absolutely brilliant! Bought this on Amazon prime day, and although at a reduced price, it’s still dearer than many of the others. But don’t let that put you off, as this is worth every penny. It’s powerful, and really does work. It’s not overly noisy either, certainly not as bad as a washing machine or tumble dryer. This was bought as a replacement for a smaller levoit model, and it outperforms it. Also has the benefit of cooling the air just in the immediate area. I realise this may not be a plus in the winter, but it certainly is now. Big plus is that unlike cheaper models it does not produce any ozones. Much better for your health. Highly recommended!
