So far so good. Ive used this battery twice every week for the past month. I use this with my used Ego lawnmower. I don’t have an original battery to compare to. I also don't run it till it’s empty. Once the battery hits the last light, I shut off the lawnmower. I let it rest shortly, then put on the charger. It’s never gotten warm yet. I just let cool off just in case, before charging it. Buying another one so I can mow whole lawn in one go.

The price for one thing the battery’s worked great and I used them for multiple yard tools

It is always great to have an extra battery. The price is a little high though.

The vendor spec'd the unit weight at 4.6 lbs. False. It weighed in at 4.2 lbs thus suspecting lower density18650 batteries were being used. The higher the lithium density, the more storage capacity it provides. Sure enough after taking a peek, I find they use Highstar 2000 mah batteries, a low end budget 18650 battery costing about $0.75 per in groups of 10 or more. Although I have not used it yet, I am sure the run time will be considerably shortened compared to batteries weighing in at close to 5 lbs. I was disappointed in the quality of the purchase but at half price and roughly1/3 the cost of an EGO 5AH battery, I will see how long it will last.

It fit my Ego lawn mower perfectly. The only reason I gave on Ed star in first two categories was because I’ve only used once. It seems to be great. Held charge long enough for me to do a sizable front yard.
