If you still use paper to take notes or fill in forms this the best iPad kneeboard.
For cockpit organization and ease if copying revised clearances paper still has its place. This product with the standard clipboard cover allows an easy way to deal with paper forms or even blank paper to easily copy rapid fire clearances. Try as I might, the apple pencil slips out of hand at the worst times so I have found blank paper of forms to still be valuable and this product gives me the best of both world. My iPad Pro 11-inch just fit's. I also appreciate the plastic film cover that protects my forms from the wind when outside the plane. My only disappointment is the unit was delivered with the plastic film scratched. This is my second Design 4 Pilots kneeboard to replace my prior unit that started to wear over several years of daily use. That one will be my back-up going forward.

Looks nice, Good construction but not great.
It's alright and it'll get the job done for a student pilot. But what I don't like about it that it opens backwards! at least for right hand people. The knee board opens from left to right which is really strange if you strap your knee board to your right knee. Also the clear plastic sheet on the front of the case looks odd and tacky. So to fix the problems I flip the case around and attach my old metal VFR knee board to front of the case. The metal VFR knee board is held in place on the bottom by the case's clamp. Now it's a lot more functional being that it opens right to left and I have a metal surface to write on and not a thin plastic sheet. Also I wish instead of them attaching a little slot on the inside of the case for you to put your business card they could have made the slot bigger like a folder to accommodate papers where you could store a map or a paper to write on while looking at your ipad.

Works.
I got it for $60 so I thought it was decent for a new student pilot. When I went to flight school everyone else’s looked much more heavy duty and higher quality. It definitely works, and I love the clips and plastic overlay. It was good for the money. But I also don’t recommend a ipad pro larger size as it’s hard to maneuver in the plane.

Holds my IPad well.
This is a good product overall. The only problem is it is a bit bulky and has gotten in the way a few times when turning in a Piper Cherokee. I keep my IPad in it all the time and I can stand it up using the case but have to brace the back of it against something so it doesn't slide. I know it's not made for that but is helpful. Also This will fit the new IPad Pro 10 inch as well. You lose a little on the edges. I use a 9.7 but I tried the 10 to see and it does work.

Great knee board for 172. Possible flap handle clearance issue in Cherokee.
I have an older 9.7" ipad from around 2011 and it did not fit into other kneeboards. I fly left seat in a C172 with this on my right leg and a traditional VFR kneeboard on my right. The cover is a little stiff when new, but after I broke it in I have no issues with it. I keep my sectional on the front clipboard with the ipad ready to go with FlightPlanGo/Foreflight. If you are flying a Cherokee I would worry about interference between the open cover and the flaps handle. In the configuration I have I might have to close the cover while configuring for landing, then open it back up so I can view the airport diagram after. Very small minor issue I know, but I wanted you Cherokee guys to be aware.

Works great with ipad Pro
This was a gift for my pilot son. He said it fits his ipad Pro perfectly and is easy to use. Was a bit stiff at first but it should loosen up with use. Has only had it a month so it's a bit early to tell about durability.

A Simple kneeboard
No frills kneeboard for the money. I just wish there was a small pocket to hold an extra battery for the iPad.
