Great product, feels sturdy...use it for my cat, who respects it's authority.Needed this as my neighbours hired idiots who broke all the fences...cat was running away into their bad garden. This keeps him safe.Recommended

This lead is super strong and sturdy. Having said that I did only use it to walk my kittens who always want to go out but due to the busy road conditions are restricted in doing so.Put this lead on the harness and let them play around in the back gardenGreat for what I wanted to use it for

Bought for a miniature wire haired dachshund puppy. Well up to the job but whoever measured the 5 metres must have been blind drunk as it's no where near that length.Pluses - easy to use and hold; feels pretty solidMinuses - trade description misrepresentation over the lead length; the button could do with a lock to hold the lead rather than having to rely on keeping the button depressed with your thumb.Won't be buying a bigger model as the puppy grows because of the two minuses, combined they're enough to make me seek an alternative.

A nice little lead which suits our two Jack Russell dogs. I wouldn’t think it would appropriate for larger dogs with a lot of pulling power. One of the issues of this design which has cord on the retractable roller is that of developing knots in the cord. I couldn’t explain that but it does! Our previous leads of this design couldn’t retract fully because of this hence my purchase. Subsequent to this I have found a very useful skill that should make these last a very long time. The toughened rubber joint between the tape and string can be unpicked, the knots cut out and the lead essentially refurbished for a second life. Great, I now have four leads for two dogs!

This lead has a perfect amount of length for our Pupster. To be fair, he does not tend to go to far from our side, but when he does the pull from the lead is smooth and the instant stop button works fab when he decides to have a rare brave moment and charge towards another dog or person. You can also slide the button up so that the lead remains the same length, perfect for when walking on busy road sides.

Satisfactory lead for energetic Jack Rusell unfortunately our puppy is still in the chewing phase and fairly easily chewed through the tape between the collar hook and the extending part of the lead, not a fault of the product. If your dog does not chew I would have no hesitation in recommending .

I have been using this lead for my jack russell for quite a while now , fits perfectly in jeans pocket when hes off the lead , slightly smaller than previous on which I lost over the fields but later found after much searching !! got three leads but this is the one I tend to use -
