This pen was re-ordered. The first one I had received did not have a good ink flow. No matter what paper or how much ink was in the pen, the nib skipped a number of letters and remained dry.The second pen was in perfect condition, and the nib was working just as intended. I have written with fountain pens since I was in 5th grade, and I currently have a pen in my collection with which I have been writing since 2006. I have never had problems with the nibs; however, the seller was quick and courteous to my complaint and quickly sent me a replacement. I received the second pen rather quickly, and Amazon gave me the instructions to return the first pen through UPS.The replacement pen writes perfectly. The ink flow is smooth. I use a converter and the Waterman ink bottle. I have not had this pen skip on me once yet, and I have already been using it for a few weeks. The price of the pen is amazing, for the item looks stylish and appears to worth more than it actually is.I am very satisfied with Amazon and the seller in terms of replacement and service. I had no problems with shipping, receiving, or mailing back the defected item, not to mention that the shipment time was much shorter than estimated. I am very happy, and that is why I gave a 5-star review.

I love this pen! It's beautiful, light in the hand with a realiably even ink flow. I've had other Waterman pens that were more costly and heavier, and Shaeffer pens with extremely difficult ink flow. This is the best fountain pen I've ever owned.

Bought this one as a gift for my brother in law. He said this one writes very smoothly and he likes it. Coming from a guy who is hard to please lol. Gave 4 stars as the ink convertor had to be bought separately.

This is the first fountain pen I ordered. So I can only compare this pen to conventional pens. It's great! It writes smoothly. The converter (Hemisphere) fits without a problem. I also like the pen's elegant appearance. It costs less than $100 but it looks, in my opinion, more sophisticated than some of the other pens on sale for hundreds of dollars.

Finding a fountain nowadays is really a difficult task. I remember when all we used in school was a Schaeffer see-through plastic fountain pen. But finding a smooth writing fountain pen has turned into a very difficult task. We've tried several, but this pen is really smooth and reminds me of using a pen in high school. I cannot recommend enough to everyone that this pen has a very nice balance, grip and flow from the nib. This is a pen I hope that Waterman never stops producing.

I think it's an OK pen. I have had it for a while now. I am a fountain pen user and I have many Weatherman pens. This has a con which is that I can only write from 1 angle – literally. Meaning if I move the nib a little bit it does not write that well anymore. Think that for such a price, it should be a bit better.----Update 13 September 2015I have now been using this pen for over a year on a daily basis. I used to have another Waterman pen with a fine nib but switched to this one. I can say that once you actually get used to this pen you start liking it. Being that it is metal/gold looking and that it is not "plastic" makes it very nice. You should give it a try actually.

Smooth writing

This would make a wonderful gift or addition to your office! Once you get used to it it’s very nice to write with, depending how you write though you might have ink flow issues, I did at the start but they’ve since stopped. Works nicely with refillable cartridges

I like the look of the pen but I have had a rough start so far. I changed the cartridge to a converter and tried again and still have problems especially when I am underlining.

Fantastica penna scrive benissimo elegante a tal punto che ho preso una seconda come regalo a mia mamma per il compleanno e si è commossa. Prese 2 una a pennino fine ottimo per chi come me ha una scrittura piccola e uno medio per mia mamma che è molto più morbido e scorrevole. Ideale anche per disegnare. Essendo in metallo ho potuto anche portarla a fare incidere a laser sulla superficie del cappuccio

Der Füller wurde als Teil eines Sets erworben. Das Schreibset wurde einer Studentin geschenkt. Sie hat sich sehr über die hochwertigen Schreibgeräte von Waterman gefreut. Waterman war mir bis dato unbekannt. Ich habe die Schreibgeräte vor dem verschenken getestet. Fazit -> liegen sehr schön in der Hand, sehr hochwertig verarbeitet, sehr angenehmes Schreibgefühl.
