Just what she wants

A cool and affordable (whatever that means these days) necklace for the the goth or Wiccan in your family/friend group, this will let normies know to keep away from you for fear of been drafting into such arcane and controversial subjects as 'which Harry Potter character would you want to marry', 'why does Glen Danzig's voice sound like that', and 'whatever happened to Fairuza Balk'?It seems like decent quality, and the pendant is eye-catching without striking obscene fears into the hearts of the 'would you like to take a tract' crew that hang around your town square.

Bought as a small add-on gift for my daughters birthday and she was over the moon. Cheap but nice.

Lovely necklace

This is an alloy metal necklace and pendant, so I’d not expect great quality or longevity. It comes in a plastic bag so you’d maybe want to get your own gift box or organza bag if giving this as a present. The pendant is fine, looking as you’d expect from the brand images and sitting fine when it’s worn. I was quite looking forward to the necklace chain but unfortunately I found it a bit disappointing. There’s no extender, so you can only fasten it at one length on one hole, and I noticed some small chips in the colouring on the chain and pendant so I don’t know how well it’ll wear over time. It does look quite funky when it’s on though; it’s a decent size so it’s noticeable but not too gaudy and it’s a nicely designed moon with pretty detailing. At £7.99, it’s probably about average for a slightly more ‘alternative’ piece of jewellery but I certainly wouldn’t pay more.

My only disappointment with this necklace is that the gemstone doesn't hang inside the moon whilst being worn / hung up as nicely as the one pictured in the listing, although it's easily possible to replicate whilst it's lying down to take a photo.My photo with a slighly grainy background was taken with it hanging on my computer screen, so that there was light coming from behind to try and show the pattern detail as well as how it lies in that position. The other three were taken with it lying down on plain white paper.But it's a nice weight, and comes with a chain of a reasonable length (according to my tape measure it's a shade over 19").The filigree detail on the moon is well defined, and even the hanging loop for the chain has nice detail on both sides. The reverse of the moon is smooth, whilst the mount for the gemstone has a ridged pattern.
