Yes,only if you don't have a canopy bed frame,because the bed curtains do not include the frame,post,and poles.

Yes,I can't see any light in there when it's pulled closed,just like nighttime suddenly.

Yes,very easy.It has one installation manual;you just hang the hook from the bed pole.It was a perfect fit for my daughter's bed.
