Messy. deposits coffee powder all around the countertop. Cleaning is kind of a pain, but the product works well. It is just messy. If you are grinding expresso, be prepared for a coffee power bomb to go off. Maybe that is to be expected with an electric grinder. My manuals do not do this. Nor does the Braun grinder. If there is any static in the home, you will need to mop up your counter after grinding. Good product. It is just messy.

I am impressed with this coffee grinder. First, of course it's noisy, that is the law of physics when you are doing something like grinding - but this is a LOT quieter then my older one. It is stylish, easy to use and clean. I hate grinding beans, but I like this one. Though, like all of them, it's a pain to get the coffee from the grinder to storage/use because coffee grinds go everywhere. I'd advise to grind a lot at one time, store it, instead of trying to grind every time you make coffee. I can't tell the difference in the taste. It does state on the instructions, not to run the cycle more then 5 times, to let the machine cool down before doing too much grinding in a row. I'd highly recommend this grinder.

other than the hopper not always loading correctly, it's a pretty good grinder. the knobs can be a little hard to make out what the setting it's on. noise is acceptable, but loud, but not whiny. hopper easy to fill and there is a line that shows a minimum level for a whole carafe. grind size is adjustable, but a bit smaller than what it shows is good (leans heavy toward espresso grind).

I make my own ice coffee brew and typically buy whole coffee beans and course grind them right at the store. Recently, most of the stores in my area have done away with their grinding machines so I needed to purchase my own. I chose this grinder because of the multiple settings, burr grinder and hopper capacity.I set the machine up and ran it to obtain the maximum course grind, but I could tell right away this was far from the result I would get from the store grinder. It appeared to be very fine, even more so than if I had purchased the coffee already ground.I decided to try it anyway to see how well it would work. As I poured water into the infuser over the grounds, the inner chamber filled quickly to the top as the water trickled through at a very slow rate. It took almost 45 minutes for 1 1/2 liters of water to finally pass through. The fine grind did produce a decent ice coffee brew, but it took longer than usual to steep.The grinder does work well and is easy to use. The noise level is about what you would expect from this type of machine. The hopper holds a lot of beans, and you can accurately grind the amount for the number of cups you want. Like all machines of this design, it is difficult to clean as you can't remove the lower burr chamber.This is a decent grinder for the price, but I will be returning it due to the inability to produce a course enough grind suitable for ice coffee or pour over applications.

The product works really great and actually has more features than what I originally thought. You can set it to grind super fine for espresso or nice and course For drip or press.Also, it comes with a warranty extension for free! Just follow the instructions. It took five minutes or less to do it all online. I was anticipating a little bit more of a hassle being that this is from China, but honestly, it went easier than I was dealing with somebody stateside.They apparently also make other appliances which I Plan to buy in the near future
