UPDATE: after just one month, scratching posts were completely shredded and highest platform was so unstable I had to tie it to the wall. Sadly, did not hold up well at all so I had to purchase a new tower.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I ordered this thinking it was for a 10-lb cat I planned to adopt from my son who could no longer keep it due to a military move. I ended up with 2 cats, one 12 pounds and one 14 pounds. I mounted food and water bowls up high to keep them away from the dog, and everything held together perfectly even when the cats hurled themselves at the food at top speed. We currently have a third cat visiting (she’s 10 pounds) and as the photo shows, they all love this tower! Some aggressive clawing did loosen the wrap on one support but I plan to stitch it up. Otherwise it is very sturdy and has made it through a full month now without problems. It was pretty easy to assemble and good value for the price. Only “con” is the hammock: it regularly falls off the hooks that support it and two of the hooks fell out, so we don’t really use it.

The rooms and platforms are just big enough for an adult cat to useMy cat rarely uses it of course :IIt seems to wobble alot so a heavier base would help but for the size and value of it I cant really complainI complain to my cat that she doesnt use it enough thoughIm glad I didnt spend 2x as much for my cat to not play in that one either

Arrived in timeframe I was given @ purchase. I was told 10 days arrived in 9. My 6 month old kitten loves it! I put a cat bed on highest shelf & he sleeps there. I used one for crates that had the stretch 4 corners rubber band type thing to secure it. That was $5 & it’s secure. It’s a very fun jungle gym but eventually it will wear out as there is no sisal. I looked at the pics & never caught that. I got lost putting it together when I was putting the kitten house together. (The two slim tubes go INSIDE the round house) I finally figured it out. I can’t deduct stars for the sisal. I should have paid attention. It looks good with my brown furniture. I think the directions need improvement as I did struggle a bit. I put a 52 inch up last week from same company & took me 15 mins. This one took 45 plus. Overall a good price & lovely cat tree. 4 stars! PS. Being dark brown it shows everything that’s not brown including orange cat hair.UPDATE: Holding up just fine now a week later. I really like the extra flat space this tree provides over most other trees 4 lounging. It DEFINITELY does show everything & must be vacuumed It should really be advertised as lounge tree as it’s only carpet & no sisal. Of course your cat may scratch it just as your cat scratches your couch. I’m going to put twine on one of the post or maybe more. It’s available here on Amazon . I would definitely still buy this for the price. My cat is not big on scratching & I already have another in the cat room with good scratching post. I still love the fact this blends with my furniture. I also bought the rectangle dog bed for crates in copper for the highest platform. It matches & now Junior sleeps up high. Make sure it has the straps underneath & it will stay in place. It’s the Midwest or maybe Amazon brand & it was on sale for $5. I definitely recommend buying that to go with this. I’ll add it to my photo’s & video.Update 3-20-23. Cats full grown. Very sturdy & cat uses it often but it still shows everything & sheds as bad as a cat but I would definitely still buy it! I attached sling with zip ties or use rubber bands that youre cat won’t eat.

A little struggle putting it together, but I think that was my fault. For $30 it is well worth it. It's sturdy, and definitely tall enough for kitties to get a good view out the window.

For the past 9 years, I've bought cat trees (2 larger ones before) from this brand, the Pet Club, and all have been really good. Unfortunately, not so much this time. We've moved and needed a compact cat tree. I found this and immediately bought it without paying attention to the posts. Ugh! It's my fault, I know, but who puts carpet instead of sisal on posts!? Cats mostly go to the posts, not really the boards! I almost returned it but I wanted to put it up already. There's sisal cord only on the boards, which they ignore even spreading catnip! There's some issues with stability, but they climb, run to the top, and I've seen it almost tip over but it didn't. My main issue with this: posts aren't scratching posts!!!The cats (3) go for the posts, which has a light layer of carpet that rips easily. The result is a bunch of pieces of the carpet all over and don't provide a good grip; it's useless. I've bought sisal to see if I can wrap around the post that's most used to see if it works.Pay attention to the product and don't make the same mistake I made.

This was so easy and so quick to put together they include all the accessories you need all of the tools you will need all of the hardware you will need and it's a simple 5-minute put together and my cats already love them and I've bought two of these one for each of my cats The cat in the picture is specifically picky about where she lays. It's very sturdy it's lightweight enough if you need it to move it room to room it's a great buy and a great find and I'm so glad that I ordered them Plus they have a nifty scratchy little post there too.

The media could not be loaded. Usually good cat trees are VERY expensive, so I was skeptical of this one, but I’m so glad we bought it! It was fun to assemble, and it has held up so far (had for 2 months). I contemplated wrapping twine around the posts, but our cat hasn’t torn through the fabric yet (minor shedding of the fur on the posts). The ramp is her favorite thing to scratch in the house, and she gets lots of solo play out of the hanging mouse at the top! It is a little wobbly when she gets on top, but the shaking is part of what riles her up for play time :) For the price, this cat tree is nice as they come.

Great item for its value, built it in no time and my cats love it. Next one I purchase will be from Amazon guaranteed! The picture is with my 35lb cat, so ya its sturdy :)

Gorgeous and not hard to assemble, just make sure the 2 thin poles go inside the vertical tube! Easy to clean velvet, my huge Bengals are heavy enough for this tower to sustain safely, but I did put a weight plate on the bottom for insurance... Incredible value for the money, stunning cat decor, very 1970's!

Purchased for two Maine Coon kittens who had to use the ramp to reach the first level. 4 months later can jump nearly to the top and it is still holding up well. If they aren't chasing each other around on it, they are both sleeping on it. One of the best purchases we've made for them. Doesn't take up a lot of floor space, easy to move around, and the colours are much nicer than some of the normal carpeted trees. At six months the cats are 8lb and almost don't fit anymore, but it is still one of the most used items in the house; helps to keep their rambunctious playing away from the furniture.
