Looks great!
Product as described and I love the color more than I thought I would! So far after a couple of days of rain it’s held up well!

East to use - easy to cleanup
When our local hardware store ran out of the color we needed we decided to order a few more cans online.Oddly enough, the online order was much less expensive. The cans did show up with dents here and there but no leaks. We applied this to some very old pressure treated wood that had been pressure washed and hit with a deck cleaner wash. That wood had a yellowish tinge to it after cleaning and when we added the Transparent Desert Tan on top it shifted into an orange/tan tone.We applied one coat and the old wood was just soaking up the sealer. It dried with a nice color - less tan and more orange than desired - but nice nonetheless. No rain for two days. After two days, the rain came and the water beaded up nicely. And then... (cue dramatic music) in various areas where the beaded up water sat on the surface we could see the color of the deck boards darkening. It was inconsistent so gave the deck a splotchy look to it.Panic sets in.After the deck boards dried out though, the color returned to a more even orange/tan and the splotches disappeared. Seems like my deck was so thirsty for sealer that the single coat I applied was not heavy enough and water was still being absorbed by the wood. The Thompsons literature seems to suggest that a second coat (if desired) should be applied same day within 4 hours of the first coat. Others suggest waiting 24 hours before a second coat. I'm now several days past my first coat and it is what it is. I picked a single test board and applied a second coat of sealer to it and it absorbed into the wood. There were a couple small spots where the second coat beaded up, but i just brushed it back and forth and those beads eventually disappeared and absorbed in. I did not need to wipe off any excess. And the color of that board darkened into more of the desired Tan tone and less of the orange tone. I'm definitely going to hit all my horizontal boards with a second coat.In the photos, the deck boards have just the single coat and the railing cap has two coats. This is 30 year old pressure treated wood with Transparent Desert Tan.
