Gave these as a Christmas gift for a 2-year old. While they are a solid "wooden"? set, which I liked, I think the size of the set is going to be a problem. The pins are the perfect size for the child to pick up and use as a "club". And the ball, again very solid piece, was the first thing he grabbed and threw across the room. Good thing there wasn't a window in front of him or it would surely have broken it. Not sure what age this would be good for...

Bought for dog trick training in a household that loves Bluey and "Do More With Your Dog." Each pin is nicely painted and has a well-adhered character decal (not a flimsy, printed plastic wrapping, as on many plastic sets). Pins stand in a stable fashion on wood or vinyl floor until knocked down. Note that the supplied ball is made from extremely *HARD* wood. Some dogs might use it safely, but others should work with a larger, softer ball instead. If using this set with a young human, I'd bury the ball deeply in the backyard. If thrown in the air, it could easily bash a lamp or someone's teeth, and what normal child won't try?

This is great for toddlers they aren’t big they’re perfect for littles between 3-5yrs of age.

Grandkids loved it. Smaller than I had envisioned, but the fact that they are wood and not plastic, for me makes it a keepsake toy.
