I bought a few starter embroidery kits and this is by far my favorite. The instructions are easy to follow all the equipment is provided and it's an overall good value for your money. The quality of thread and colors priced are better than the other kits I bought as well.

I’m experienced with cross stitch, and decided I wanted to learn embroidery so I bought this kit. It’s a great kit to start learning! I started with the Stitch Dictionary canvas to get a feel for the stitches, then moved onto the blocks of stitches canvas so that I felt I had a good handle on the stitches before finishing with the cat project. I also decided to backstitch the outline of the cat canvas for more definition (I used the same color thread as each section) and I’m so glad I did because I LOVE how it turned out! The kid had everything you need (except scissors) to get started and plenty of floss as well.I bought the kit with the heart final project to do next because it has a few different stitches before I fully branch out on my own. This is a great kit for the price and the videos really help you as well!

My kids and I have all enjoyed learning the different embroidery stitches using this cute kit. The videos that accompany the kit make it easy and fun to learn!

I have enjoyed doing the first two stitch practice/dictionary. It is really annoying that the black writing is also water soluble so if I want to get rid of the blue, I will have to rewrite the names of the stitches. The color scheme included with the kit was fine, but I had also bought a supplemental floss kit that had more colors and I chose to do a real rainbow instead of what was provided.I liked that it had a stitch ripper, needles, and several needle threaders. It’s important to pay attention to how many strands each stitch uses or else the threader may break if you use all six.The booklet included was so-so. I’m more of a YouTube person for learning stitches it turns out.Another sort of annoying thing is that the stitches on the stitch dictionary piece are repeating. There are 30 stitches but there were about 24 unique ones on there. (Also whipped back stitch is spelled wrong on one of them but it won’t matter when I wash it and it comes out anyway). Overall I would recommend.

This is a great kit to begin learning or, like me, refreshing your embroidery knowledge.It contains everything you need to do the 3 samplers. You say no scissors, cut with the seem ripper!Bonus: very nice quality, colored instruction booklet.Excited, going to get busy now🥰 🪡

Ordered this as a Christmas gift for a 14 year old. She was excited and started right on them. The instructions were easy to follow. What you get for the price is good as well.

The kit comes with two needle threaders. One broke the first time I attempted to use it, as the needle eyes are too small to comfortably thread. I was able to thread a needle once with the other one, but on the next attempt, first the needle broke, followed by the threader. The instructions in the beginning of the book are a bit ambiguous but overall fine; however, since I no longer have a way to thread the needles, I can't comment on the quality after the first three stitches. I will probably end up buying a new needle set to try to finish the project, but given how quickly and easily the materials broke, I would not consider this a complete kit.EDIT: I learned today that you are rarely supposed to use all the threads of floss when stitching. The needle eyes may have been big enough for a few threads--I got rid of them so can't check--but did go through the instruction booklet to doublecheck, and there's no mention of splitting the threads or how many to use in the practice stitches. Maybe it's a complete kit with incomplete instructions, or maybe it's not actually meant for beginners. Bumped to three stars because the elephant turned out nicely so I'm feeling forgiving.

I have been wanting to get into embroidery and this kit is a perfect place to start! It shows you a bunch of different techniques and then gives you a project to practice them! It’s super fun and easy to understand! Would recommend to anyone who’s trying to learn!

El paquete esta my completo, las impresiones de los patrones se ven perfectamente y el manual explica muy bien como aplicar cada una de las puntadas, así que si eres principiante o necesitas reforzar las puntadas basicas este es un kit para ti.Los colores de los hilos son muy bonitos, desafortunadamente la calidad no es la mejor, tienden a hacer muchos nudos, pero por el precio es de esperarse.

I don't understand the point of this tool to learn embroidery, since there are no instructions on how to make the stitches.

I am really enjoying doing this kit. I have only done one of the stitch practice pieces (the more simple one) and have started on the elephant but the practice is great. I have never embroidered before but have done cross stitch and really pleased I got this kit. It is more different than I expected and being able to practice new stitches is very helpful. Sometimes the thread is a little "dry" and difficult to pull through, especially when using more threads, but I have thread wax that I use on the thread and fixes it right up.
