Size 8. My son likes this coat. Very comfy and warm my 5 year old is very tall.

Nice quality and super warm without the puffiness. The zipper goes all the way up the hood. That part is a bit awkward, but it’s still a nice quality coat.

My son is 8 yrs old and weighs about 95 lbs. usually he wears a size 10/12 clothes so i got him the 14/16 and it fits perfectly. Has a little extra room, great fit 😁

Kept my child warm and dry while skiing. It's great quality which meant it was slightly heavier than I expected. The jacket is a little puffier than we expected also. If you are trying to be super active in this jacket you might go for something not as puffy. The hood doesn't fit my child well with a husky build. Just being objective for a review none of these things call for less stars its just preference and would only make a true difference if we were trying on jackets in store, we might have chose a less puffy jacket that's all.

I love the way it look and the quality of it. It's designed for comfort and warmth. It's thick but not too heavy,it's stylish yet effectively will keep you warm. I bought it a size bigger for my grandson and it's too big but he will grow into it. However, if you want a better fit, order the current size your child normally wear if your child is built small. I highly recommend this item and I am so pleased with the quality, comfort and warmth of it.

I was worried that my 8 year old wouldn't fit in this coat or that it wouldn't make it until winter because of the sizing. My son is tall and very slim. He weighs 58lbs and is about 5ft tall. This coat fits him loose. He could possibly get 2 years because of the body but maybe not the sleeves. The coat is very well made and seems extremely warm. The only thing I would change is the snap pockets. I wish the were zippers because my son's keeps his gloves and stuff in there. I recommend this coat!
