Was easy to wire in back up light for someone with the knowledge, everything else plug n play works great. Adhesive definitely lacks! I used (and had planned on it) a stronger glue.

Alot of reviews show it doesn't work correctly. So I tapped and hardwired into the correct wire behind my trailer plugs. If you have the seven pin there should be an 12v trailer reverse light wire. (Some trailers do have reverse lights). You could tap the taillight for reverse, but I wasn't pulling off the taillight. Make sure you at least eletrical tape off all your connections at least when done.Everything works as it should. We will see how long it lasts. 5 stars for now.

Looks nice and operates as expected. Only downside is my installer had to purchase an additional adapter for correct installation. An additional $50 costs. Nothing in the instructions mentioned this. Overall happy with product, so far.

If your thinking about buying this to install on your truck or SUV let me save you some time and money - LOOK ELSEWHERE AND DO NOT BUY THIS ONE!!! Read on to find out why I would not recommend this light bar.I Purchased this light bar mid May and installed it on to my truck using the OPT7 wiring harness with no issues, everything worked like a charm and initially it looked great, until....this past weekend I took my trucm out for the longest road trip ive taken since I installed the light bar, a 6.5 hour drive in each direction, on the second half of my trip while gassing up i noticed that some of the running lights (the bottom row of lights) on the passenger side if the light bar were not lit up, them a couple of days later i noticed another portion of running lights section went out on the passenger side so now it looks like what you see in the picture.This is after having the light bar on my brand new truck for just over three months, this truck isnt a daily driver and is in my garage or parking decks 75% of the time out of the elements so it has not been weather beathen or taken any damage, basically the leds cannot withstand running for long periods of time before burning out, before the long road trip the lights were fine for occasional use on short trips and top red row and middle row are working fine for now but im sure with use they will probably start burning out as well.So overall I definitely think this IS NOT A GOOD BUY FOR LONG TERM USE which is a pain since theres a bit of work involved to install and now have to uninstall the light bar after such a short period of time of use. You have beem forewarned, LOOK ELSEWHERE no matter how tempting the price of this light bar is the hassle isnt worth it to have it break before it even goes through a season, spend a little more and buy a better model.

Love it so far, the white backup light is worth the price, easy install and works great, time will tell for durability

I just installed these a day ago so I can't say anything on them long term but these lights where stepped on, tripped over and put through the ringer during the long install (got alot going on all at the same time) and I was shocked to see each strand withstand the poor treatment and perform faulesly! Only a few complaints! 1 I recieved 0 instructions (I didn't need them as I'm experienced in the electrical field) but I could see someone lost on the wiring if they have nothing to show them how to hook them up. 2. It was near impossible tfor me to find the app for them!! I even contacted Amazon support and the app they gave me was incorrect. I finally found it on the website. The app is called Happy Lighting. 3. Even using the app which ive only got to work once cause it cant detect the lights for some reason and the color purple is impossible to create which was my biggest disappointment. There purple is pink and there is no way I found to get a deep purple from these lights. The other colors are very vibrate and as bright as you could want or need! Ultimately I'm happy but wouldn't buy them again if only because of the unreliable app and color issue. Take your time plan out prior to install your placements with a measuring tape and don't trust the tape, it may stick initially but it will NOT stay no matter how much you clean (I installed on a brand new car and they fell off). Use the brackets and zip tie's included and your install will be a breeze!

Lo único malo es que la app que controla las luces es un tanto obsoleta y le falta un módulo para personalizar los colores y efectos al gusto de cada persona. Trae como 250 modos pre-instalados pero no se pueden crear más (como en otras apps)

Flexible and easy to install - 3M mounting tape very strong and wiring is water sealed where it enters one end of the light - less one star because the fuse assembly is not weather sealed and is prone to corrosion, I sealed the fuse assembly ends with marine grade silicone sealant.This is the second Nilight tailgate light I have purchased, the first one I purchased a year ago and installed it on my small pickup truck and it is still working perfectly and corrosion free. This second one I purchased for the back of my enclosed trailer mounted under the rear doors, when my trailer is connected to the truck you can't see the tailgate light on the truck. This LED lighting assembly adds much better safe lighting for the rear of the trailer.For the trailer installation I cut off the 4 pin plug and soldered the wiring inside the back corner of the trailer. The reverse wire I connected to a 12V accessory line I have inside the trailer through a switch, this let's me manually power the white reverse LED'S and provide lighting at the back doors when loading the trailer at night.Overall a great buy and well made. My experience with Nilight has been very good, they make good reliable products for a fair price.Thanks for having a look at my review, all the best, MPS 😀

Lights work well. Hooked them up to the rear of the trailer for extra turn signals and back up light. Cutting and soldering the wires to the junction box is pretty forward.
