This kitten is a bit over 4 lbs. I got the harness for 4 to 6 lb cats. Not only is it easy to put on, it stays on well. There is Velcro across the chest and the belly area that is secure. It comes with a leash. None of it stretches so it should hold a wriggling kitten well. She ran all over the house with it and there were no problems.It's also SO adorable! There is a little room to grow here so she should be able to use this harness until she is 6lbs. It's quite true to size.This harness was a great value for the money. It's lightweight and seems like it will be comfortable for my kitten.

das geschirr wurde extrem schnell geliefert. das auspacken hat freude gemacht, weil es sooo schön ist. die maßangaben waren wirklich so angegeben, dass man sie gut in cm umrechnen komnte. und das erste mal stimmten diese angaben auch.das geschirr passt perfekt und amy stört es auch nicht.die qualität, wie es genäht ist, ist verblüffend und es ist durch die klettverschlüsse ausbruchssicher!ich bin begeistert und freue mich auf den ersten spaziergang! ✌️✌️ :)

I've tried a lot of different types and styles of cat harnesses for my cat. When afraid, she's been able to wriggle & pull backwards to escape, from every single one, except this one. As I often travel & camp in my car & visit different places, I really need a harness that not only protects her, but prevents her from escaping into a dangerous situations, like being near busy streets, or crowded sidewalks. I also need a harness that, if I must suddenly jerk her up into my arms, to protect her from danger (say from an approaching dog), it won't hurt her neck or ribs -meaning it can't have skinny straps around her neck & rib cage,bc they can cause injury to fragile bones! Wider fabric around those fragile areas is essential, IMHO, to disperse any pressure used if I lift her up by the harness, rather than by my hands.This cat vest harness meets all my criteria! And, once she got used to it, she actually seemed to enjoy it -as if she was wearing a full-body snuggle!The only complaints I have are:1) for long-term wearing (like on month long camp trips, when the harness needs to be in at all times, even without the leash), it started to cause some fur loss in her back, from rubbing (remedied by removing it nightly, giving some extra petting & brushing), and2) even with the mesh interior side, it was too hot for her to wear durng this past summer's heat wave, so I had to resort to using her back-up nylon strap harness, which I just don't trust in public settings for her safety, bc she can escape it so easily.This harness is well made, too -excellent right stitching, high quality fabric on top (lightweight canvas-like material), breathable lycr-blend mesh underneath -not that cheap, suffocating nylon crap! The velcro fasteners are really strong, too! Keeps the harness fastened on tight, so there's no need for added plastic buckles!Best if all, it's so darn easy to put on my furbaby! It's like putting a blanket on top of her, and then scooping it underneath her neck & belly. From there, I can adjust the snugness as needed during a scratch&pet lovefest!

My 6kg cat escaped the first two times wearing this. He lay on his side, and using the ground as resistance pulled his front feet through the tummy velco latch, and his head through the neck latch, then the tummy latch. He then ran off. The harness was pulled inside out by his actions.It's a very nice harness however, build quality is superb, I can pick my big lad up holding just the harness leash attachment points. My big Ginger looks wicked too in his camo harness. The Nurses at the Vets loved it!Great quality, nice design, but the determined, thinking feline will get it off.
