Lands' End Women's Down Maxi Winter Coat

I am a "Chilly Willy" so I love to "bundle up!" I love this coat! The zipper goes down to the hem! The hood is deep and let's me snuggle back and the pockets are deep, warm and fleece lined! And best yet the sleeves are luxuriously long for my extra long arms! I am 5'6' and 137lbs but bought a large to have room for my full length fleece sweater underneath that keeps out the wind. What a steal compared to its price on the mfg's site! Just remember to remove the hood before washing and do not put it in the dryer to "freshen" it!

I went from Florida to North Dakota and this was an amazing jacket. The jacket covered the full body and blocks the wind. When the wind is not as strong you can use the double zippers to give you more flexibility. The flexible on/off hood is also a key to this flexible coat. I received compliments on the coat as well. I would recommend this coat to anyone going to a cold windy place that can change temperatures quickly.

It is not canvas-like like I was hoping, and certainly not shapely, hasn't been cold really since I got it to validate that extreme cold claim on the description. cuffs are not knitted acrylic, more spandex like (not sure of fabrics) However,I love it, perhaps because there is something so warm about having your legs covered that I never had before, didn't think it was a bad price for the fact that I have little access to stores.... that would sell this stuff. But I must admit, when one of the reviews said it was like wearing a sleeping bad, I thought that meant cozy fun, but now I think it meant it hangs like a big long rectangle on you. All that said, it has a cool back-head hood elastic thingy that holds the hood on your head, framing my face and not falling down on my eyes. I got a large, ( am 5"8", 165 lbs, broad shoulders) and it had shoulder room that is much nicer than the fitted coats. That said the waist is wide like a sleeping bag. It is definitely mid calf or longer.I think it is just what you need to love walking the dog on a cold day. Hate shivering until the car heat warms up, too, am warm now. I especially like the lined pockets. it is not too shiny feeling like some puff coats and the side zippers are really great for movement, with the front not blowing open.

Just the right length for light weight and comfortable

Purchased for my daughter... she absolutely loves it. Fits very well ....looks great on her and she says it's the nicest warmest coat she's ever worn !! We give it a 10 😘👏🏻

You have to bet tall to wear this coat my wife is 5’4” it comes down to her ankles, had to return it.

Overall, I think this coat will be perfect for the Midwest winter. The quality is great.The fit is fine, but, unlike the picture, this literally goes down to an inch above my ankles (I am 5'4").
