Granny Jo Products Fleece Cape

I grab this vape whenever I go outside of cool spring evenings. It is so cuddly and soft but not heavy. I love the inside pockets for hand warming, holding it close or stashing a Kleenex or house key. I got the chambray blueish color.

Perfect for chilly days when you need something over your arms and shoulders while reading or sitting. Pockets on the inside for hands work well. Soft and washable.

I have purchased this shawl for 2 friends who were having surgery with long recoveries and a relative in a nursing home. Beautiful light and dark blue colors. Light weight. Soft. Comfortable.

I would have given this 5 stars if the fabric was just a little softer. This is not the "Oh!" kind of silky-soft, but still quite soft. A 7/8 out of 10 on the softness scale. But my mom likes it, likes the color, the warmth, and the little pockets at the corners to keep her hands extra warm. It's also lightweight so easy for her to move around by herself, which is important. Generous size and versatile. She can use it as a cape/shawl, or pull up to cover her chest and shoulders as a small blanket.

I needed a bed jacket that wouldn’t interfere with any tubes I may have after surgery. I also needed a quick coverup for visitor once I came home. This will also be perfect for cold night watching TV.

I use these capes more like under capes under another one for my youngest daughter who is in a wheelchair and has spasticity issues making it hard to get coats on and off of her. I use these ones as under capes because they're so soft and warm. The other cape I use on top is thinner and has a fastening. I put both capes on her backwards and fasten the top one around to keep them on and she stays nice and warm. I love the fact that I can color coordinate her capes and lap blankets, it's so cute. I usually will get the same color under cape and lap blanket and then get a patterned over Cape that is coordinating in one of the colors.1 Star - awful! Since I lost a little weight I get chilled at times. Not as much fat to keep me warm. I know all the pluses and minuses of Polyester. It is not breathable like my usual cotton clothing. Good. As soon as I put it on my heat stays put with me. It works. Soft . I just have to watch where I set it down as my Cat loves to sleep on it and doesn't want to give it up. : )

I would give this 10 stars if I could. This is very soft and very well-made. My husband is in the hospital as an extended stay patient, awaiting a heart transplant. He has many needles, IVs, and tubes in his arms. So, he cannot use anything with sleeves. I got him this poncho shawl, and it is ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. He is 6 feet tall and the L/XL Fits perfectly. It comes down to his waist. So he does not have to worry about sitting on it, and pulling it off of his shoulders. The back of his hospital gown is open a lot of the time and this poncho shawl covers his naked back when he sits up and/or leans forward. It also passed my “pinch test”. My pinch test is to simply pinch & pull on the fibers/threads with my fingertips to see if anything breaks free. (I do this with blankets, stuffed animals, jackets, etc.). This poncho shawl passed the pinch test with a score of 100%. I really can’t say enough good things about it. I don’t usually write reviews, but this is definitely worth sharing.

I loved the colour and the cozy feel of it. It was just as I imagined it to be. I am really pleased with the garment and it keeps my arms and shoulders lovely and warm as I wanted.

This fleece cape is very soft & light but cosy, a useful extra layer if you don’t want to put the heating on! Especially useful for people with arthritic shoulders as it isn’t heavy. The inside pockets handy for keeping phone etc. The colour I have is a soft Wedgwood blue.I like it very much.

I bought this for my mother-in-law for Christmas and instantly fell in love with it myself. However, thankfully, she also loves it! It's warm and cosy and feels super soft. Arrived really promptly too. Very happy with this purchase.
