NOMO Vegan Chocolate Advent Calendar Christmas Eve 2023 Edition with a bonus Utena Christmas Stocking

This is a nice presented chocolate advent which comes with its own stocking.The design of the advent is light blue with white writing which is clear to read although the numbers are quite small which can be difficult to see at times.Although I am not overly keen on plant based products I do find the chocolates to be quite good and this is a good alternative.Recommended.

This vegan chocolate advent calendar is made by Nomo and it is free from dairy, egg, peanuts, tree, nuts, and gluten. It is always refreshing to see a product that is traditionally dairy based having alternatives that will suit a lot of the population who have allergies or follow a vegan lifestyle.I like the bright blue festive look to the calendar which is modern yet traditional too. As you would expect there are numbered doors with a chocolate behind each. The details say there is a chocolate surprise behind each door but I don’t really agree with that as all the chocolates were the same small shape. This may be a bit boring to little children as I can always remember liking to see different things each day when I was a child. The chocolate itself is quite tasty, it is supposed to be a caramel flavour but it seemed more a praline type taste to me.There is a small Christmas stocking included which is quite flimsy but still suitably festive. I think this is a nice advent calendar but it is quite overpriced. Having said that, it is a good alternative to dairy chocolate and it looks nice too. If it was a bit cheaper or the chocolates were more substantial, it would be a four star product, but, as it is, I think it is worth three stars.
